Casio has quietly brought a sought-after Oceanus release to the United States, and it’s one collectors have been watching since its Japan debut. The Casio Oceanus Manta S7000 Series OCWS7000CN1A, part of the brand’s Calm Night lineup, is now listed for sale in Casio’s US online store. It arrives alongside the higher-priced OCWSG1000CN1A, giving Oceanus fans two fresh premium options—though the Manta model is likely to attract the most attention thanks to its blend of design and everyday wearability.
In the US, the Oceanus Manta OCWS7000CN1A is priced at $2,200. Availability is expected to be tight: the listing notes just 10 units remain, underscoring how limited this release is. Casio is producing only 1,600 pieces worldwide, which makes this Oceanus Manta a particularly notable limited-edition offering for anyone building a high-end Casio collection.
Visually, the OCWS7000CN1A leans into a sleek, dark aesthetic. The watch is finished in black with a matte, textured dial designed to look understated at first glance. The standout detail is its hand-cut sapphire glass bezel, which catches light with a blue shimmer—an effect that helps explain the “Calm Night” theme. Casio uses titanium for both the case and bracelet, paired with a three-fold clasp, keeping the watch lightweight while still feeling premium. It’s also rated for 100 meters of water resistance, positioning it as a luxury sport-style watch that isn’t afraid of daily wear.
This Oceanus Manta isn’t just about looks. It’s built as a connected, high-precision timepiece with Bluetooth support, enabling features such as automatic time adjustment and a phone finder when paired with a smartphone. It also supports radio-controlled timekeeping with Multiband 6, a key feature for buyers who prioritize accuracy with minimal effort.
The layout is clean but practical, using three analog hands along with a straightforward date window. Sub-dials add extra functionality, including a second time zone display and a day-of-the-week indicator—useful touches for travelers or anyone juggling schedules across regions. Casio also includes a stopwatch, an auto hand home position function to keep the hands properly aligned, and its Tough Solar charging system to reduce the need for battery replacements.
As of now, Casio hasn’t shared whether the Oceanus Manta OCWS7000CN1A will launch in European markets like Germany. For buyers outside the US and Japan, that uncertainty—paired with the limited production run—may make this one even harder to secure as demand builds.
