Casio Brings Sleek New Ultra-Thin Edifice Watches to Europe at Wallet-Friendly Prices

Casio Edifice EFR-SE108D arrives in Europe with slim stainless steel design and €149 price

Casio has expanded its Edifice lineup in Europe with the arrival of the new EFR-SE108D series, a collection of four sleek stainless steel watches designed for everyday wear. The models are now appearing on Casio’s official regional sites in Germany, France, and the Netherlands, confirming European pricing after the collection was first seen in Thailand.

All four Casio Edifice EFR-SE108D watches are priced at €149, placing them in the more accessible end of the Edifice range while still offering premium touches such as sapphire crystal protection, a stainless steel bracelet, and 100-meter water resistance.

The new collection includes four dial options: black, blue, green, and white. The model numbers are EFR-SE108D-1A, EFR-SE108D-2A, EFR-SE108D-3A, and EFR-SE108D-7A. Each version shares the same overall design, including an octagonal bezel, polished metal case, and matching stainless steel bracelet. The main difference between the models is the dial color, giving buyers a choice between a classic, sporty, or more refined look.

One of the biggest highlights of the Casio Edifice EFR-SE108D series is its slim profile. Each watch measures 44.8 x 39.9 x 8 mm and weighs 111 g, making it relatively thin for a stainless steel analog watch with a full metal bracelet. The 8 mm case should appeal to those who prefer a watch that sits comfortably under a shirt cuff while still offering a strong wrist presence.

Casio has kept the dial layout clean and practical. The watches feature a three-hand analog display, along with a date window positioned at 3 o’clock. This simple setup makes the EFR-SE108D suitable for daily use, whether paired with casual clothing, office wear, or a more formal outfit.

Durability is another key selling point. The use of sapphire crystal gives the watch better scratch resistance than standard mineral glass, which is a welcome feature at this price. The 100-meter water resistance rating also means the watches can handle splashes, rain, and swimming, although they are not intended for professional diving.

Inside, the EFR-SE108D uses a replaceable SR621SW battery, which Casio estimates will last around three years. The watch is rated for accuracy of approximately ±20 seconds per month, which is typical for a quartz analog model. The bracelet comes with a one-touch three-fold clasp, designed to make the watch easier to put on and remove while keeping it secure on the wrist.

With its combination of slim dimensions, stainless steel construction, sapphire glass, and affordable pricing, the Casio Edifice EFR-SE108D could become an appealing option for buyers looking for a stylish quartz watch under €150. The four dial colors also give the lineup enough variety to attract different tastes, from the understated black and white models to the more eye-catching blue and green versions.

While the watches are now listed in multiple European countries, Casio has not yet confirmed a wider shipping schedule for all markets in the region. Availability and pricing for the United States have also not been announced yet.
