Casio Brings Pastel Pink G-Shock GMA-S2100PR-4A to the US for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Casio is adding a meaningful new model to its G-Shock lineup in the United States with the launch of the G-Shock GMA-S2100PR-4A, a pastel pink analog-digital watch created in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Priced at $110, the special edition is scheduled to go on sale later in October.
The GMA-S2100PR-4A stands out with a soft pastel pink finish that covers the case, dial, and band, giving the rugged G-Shock design a gentler and more symbolic appearance. Rather than covering the watch in large campaign graphics, Casio keeps the design clean and understated. The key tribute is found on the inset sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position, where the small hand is shaped like a pink ribbon, the internationally recognized symbol of breast cancer awareness.
Casio says this release continues its support for medical organizations and programs focused on the early detection and treatment of breast cancer. The GMA-S2100PR-4A is the fourth G-Shock model connected to Casio’s Pink Ribbon campaign, and it arrives in special packaging designed for the 2026 initiative.
The watch is based on the GMA-S2100, a more compact version of G-Shock’s popular octagonal analog-digital design. Its case measures 46.2 x 42.9 x 11.2 mm and weighs 41 grams, making it a practical option for those who prefer a lighter and slightly smaller G-Shock. It is designed to fit wrists from 140 mm to 205 mm.
Durability remains a core part of the watch. Casio uses carbon fiber-reinforced resin and resin for the case and bezel, while bio-based resin made from renewable organic materials is used in the main bezel and band components. The watch also features Casio’s Carbon Core Guard structure, which helps protect the internal module from impact.
Like other G-Shock models, the GMA-S2100PR-4A is built for everyday toughness. It offers 200-meter water resistance, a mineral glass crystal, and Neobrite-coated hands for better visibility in low-light conditions.
The feature set includes world time for 48 cities across 31 time zones, plus UTC. Users also get a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, and five daily alarms. Two LED lights illuminate the analog dial and digital display separately, while the hand-shift function moves the hands out of the way when users need a clear view of the LCD screen.
Casio rates the watch’s accuracy at plus or minus 15 seconds per month. Power comes from two SR726W batteries, with an estimated battery life of about three years.
The GMA-S2100PR-4A was first introduced for Japan in mid-September under the model name GMA-S2100PR-4AJR, priced at 18,700 yen including tax. That version is also expected to arrive in October. In Japan, Casio plans to donate 5% of local sales to J.POSH, a certified non-profit organization that has supported breast cancer awareness, screening, and patient assistance programs for more than two decades.
The special edition watch also reached Europe in September, expanding the global availability of Casio’s Pink Ribbon G-Shock series. Previous models in the campaign include the GMA-S2100P-4A and GA-2100P-1A, followed by the DW-5600PK-1 and GMD-S5610PK-4 in 2024.
With its pastel pink color, discreet ribbon detail, durable G-Shock construction, and connection to breast cancer awareness, the Casio G-Shock GMA-S2100PR-4A blends style, purpose, and practicality in a meaningful limited-edition release.
