Calm Unveils a Dedicated iOS Sleep App to Help You Drift Off

Calm introduces Calm Sleep, a standalone iOS app built to deliver more personalized sleep support—from daytime habits to bedtime routines. Designed to help you wind down faster, sleep deeper, and wake up refreshed, the app blends Calm’s popular sleep content with new tools that guide you toward healthier rest.

After a quick onboarding questionnaire, Calm Sleep builds a tailored plan with recommended content and daily tasks. The plan focuses on core pillars that influence rest, such as digital hygiene, exercise, stress reduction, and optimizing your sleep environment.

Key features include:
– Personalized sleep plan: Curated content and daily actions that evolve with your habits and goals.
– Sleep readiness bar: A visual tracker that fills as you complete tasks throughout the day, encouraging consistent, sleep-friendly routines.
– Wearable syncing via Apple HealthKit: Pull in your sleep and activity data and get suggestions you can act on.
– Premium sleep content: A growing library with more than 300 hours of sleep audio and 500 Sleep Stories, plus new releases.

At launch, Calm Sleep debuts fresh Sleep Stories from radio host Delilah and actor Andrew Scott. New sleep content will arrive first on Calm Sleep with a four-week exclusive window before it appears in the main Calm app.

Calm has been shaping the sleep space for a decade, starting with its Sleep Stories—bedtime audio for children and adults—which have now been played over a billion times. The company says Calm Sleep is a natural next step, centering the entire experience on improving rest and making bedtime feel easier and more enjoyable.

The app is free to download, letting you explore your personalized plan, daily tasks, and wearable integration. For full access to the content library and premium features, Calm Sleep Premium is available for $69.99 per year.

Calm Sleep is available now on iOS, with an Android version planned for the future.
