Bunny Garden 2

Bunny Garden 2 Hops Onto Screens This April

Developer qureate has locked in the release date for Bunny Garden 2, the newest entry in its playful, romance-driven adventure series. Bunny Garden 2 is coming to Windows PC and Nintendo Switch 2 on April 16, giving fans a clear date to return to a night out that’s equal parts comforting, flirtatious, and full of surprises.

Along with the release date announcement, two additional characters have been introduced for the sequel: Kuon and Runa. Their reveal adds to the growing lineup of personalities you’ll meet inside the game’s signature “gentlemen’s retreat,” where conversations, choices, and chemistry take center stage.

Bunny Garden 2 builds on the foundation of the original with a fresh setup aimed at players who enjoyed the relaxing, character-focused vibe of the first game. The premise is simple: step away from the stress of everyday life and spend an evening in a space designed for sweet talk, heart-pounding moments, and the kind of escapism romance adventure games do best. Familiar faces are set to return, but this sequel also brings new additions and a more immersive approach to the series’ signature “gentleman’s games,” with more freedom in how you choose to enjoy your time.

The story follows Haito Kanda (whose name can be changed), a man who’s hit rock bottom after losing his job due to a major workplace mistake. Drifting toward his usual low-cost pub to cope, he’s interrupted when a woman notices his crushed mood and reaches out. That one moment leads to a turning point—an invitation into Bunny Garden, a welcoming refuge where charming women greet him and a new chapter begins. This installment is set in a different world line from the previous title, meaning it offers a brand-new story and a cast designed to feel fresh, even for returning players.

Gameplay centers on spending time with the cast in a social, lounge-like setting. With a drink in hand, you’ll order beverages and snacks, chat, and get to know each character’s personality. What you choose to order isn’t just cosmetic, either—picking menu items that match a character’s preferences can improve your likability with them. And as the night goes on and the drinks start to hit, the cast may open up in unexpected ways, revealing sides of themselves you wouldn’t normally see.

Another standout feature is the music. Each cast member has a signature song, and their stage performances are part of the experience. The game leans into the fun of seeing characters loosen up as the night progresses, mixing laughter, romantic tension, and the excitement of live performances in a way that fits the series’ cozy nightlife fantasy.

Bunny Garden 2 also has key creative talent attached, including character design by Waon Inui, scenario work by Takayoshi Muto (Synthese), and production by Yujiro Usuda. With a confirmed April 16 launch on PC and Nintendo Switch 2, and new characters Kuon and Runa joining the roster, Bunny Garden 2 is shaping up to be a bigger, bolder night out for fans of romance adventure games looking for a stylish, character-driven escape.
