Budget-Friendly Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Achieves FCC Certification Milestone

Samsung is gearing up to expand its budget-friendly tablet lineup with the anticipated launch of the Galaxy Tab A11. As details emerge, this new model has captured attention by appearing on the FCC, shedding light on its connectivity features and battery specifications.

The Galaxy Tab A series has long been a staple for those seeking affordable tablets, and the upcoming Galaxy Tab A11 promises to continue this tradition. Recently, a tablet bearing the model number SM-X130 received certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance, suggesting a WiFi-only version. Now, the LTE variant, identified as SM-X135, has gained clearance from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US.

Thanks to the FCC certification, we know the Galaxy Tab A11 will support a range of connectivity options, including GSM, WCDMA, and LTE networks. It also features dual-band WiFi capabilities, operating at both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. In terms of power, the tablet is equipped with HQ-3565S and HQ-6739SDS Li-ion batteries, suggesting a robust capacity of approximately 5,000mAh. Additionally, the device is compatible with a 15W charger.

While the FCC documents stop short of revealing the full specifications, the Galaxy Tab A11 is expected to make its debut soon, likely as the successor to the Galaxy Tab A9 launched in October 2023. The Tab A9 boasted an 8.7-inch TFT LCD with an 800 x 1340 pixel resolution, powered by the Helio G99 processor, and came with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It featured a 5,100mAh battery with 15W charging support, all for a price of $160 USD.

As excitement builds around the Galaxy Tab A11, this latest offering is poised to capture the interest of budget-conscious tech enthusiasts seeking a reliable tablet experience without breaking the bank. Stay tuned for more updates on its official release.
