Juno Tab 4 Debuts as a Linux Tablet Lineup with 10.5-Inch and 13-Inch Intel-Powered Models

Juno Tab 4 Linux Tablets Debut in 10.5-Inch LTE and 13-Inch Wi-Fi Models

Juno Computers has expanded its Linux tablet lineup with two new Intel-powered models designed for users who want a portable device with desktop-class flexibility. The new range includes the Juno Tab 4 10.5-inch LTE and the larger Juno Tab 4 13-inch Wi-Fi model, giving Linux fans two different options depending on whether they prioritize mobile connectivity or stronger performance.

Both tablets support preinstalled Linux distributions, making them appealing to developers, students, remote workers, and open-source enthusiasts who want a tablet that is not locked into a traditional mobile operating system.

The Juno Tab 4 10.5-inch LTE is the more compact and travel-friendly option. It features a 10.5-inch LCD display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Power comes from an Intel Core i3-N300 processor, an 8-core chip with a maximum turbo frequency of 3.80 GHz. The processor is paired with 12GB of soldered LPDDR5 memory and a removable 1TB M.2 2242 SATA III SSD.

For cameras, the smaller Juno Tab 4 includes a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. Its port selection is also practical for productivity, offering a micro HDMI port, two USB-C 3.1 ports with charging and video output support, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Connectivity is one of the biggest highlights of the 10.5-inch model. It comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, an LTE modem, and a nano SIM card slot. The SIM slot also doubles as a microSD card slot, allowing users to expand storage when needed. Juno says the LTE version is not limited to mobile data, as users can also make calls from the tablet.

The device includes stereo speakers, a microphone, and pogo pins for attaching the included keyboard. It is built with a metal chassis measuring 24.6 x 17.2 x 0.9 cm and houses a 29.6Wh battery. A 36W charger is included in the box.

For users who want a larger display and more power, the Juno Tab 4 13-inch Wi-Fi model brings a noticeable performance upgrade. It features a 13-inch IPS display with a sharper 1600 x 2560 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.

Inside, the 13-inch model is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 115U processor, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a removable 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD. This makes it the stronger choice for multitasking, productivity apps, coding, and heavier Linux workloads.

The camera setup is also slightly better than the smaller version, with a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. However, unlike the 10.5-inch version, the 13-inch Juno Tab 4 does not include an LTE modem or a microSD card slot.

Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, two USB 3.1 Type-C ports with video output support, and one USB 3.0 Type-A port. The tablet also includes stereo speakers, a microphone, and two cooling fans to help manage heat during more demanding tasks.

The larger model is built with a magnesium alloy body and packs a 42.71Wh battery. It ships with a 65W charger and includes a detachable backlit keyboard, making it more suitable as a laptop alternative.

Juno Computers will allow buyers to choose from several Linux distributions before checkout. The available options include:

Debian Forky with Posh

Debian Forky with Plasma Mobile

Debian Testing/Forky with Gnome

Kubuntu 26.04 LTS with KDE Plasma

Ubuntu 26.04 LTS with Gnome

This flexibility is one of the key selling points of the Juno Tab 4 series. Instead of buying a tablet and installing Linux manually, users can receive the device with their preferred Linux environment already set up.

At the moment, pricing and availability details for the Juno Tab 4 10.5-inch LTE and Juno Tab 4 13-inch Wi-Fi models have not been announced. Still, the combination of Intel processors, removable SSD storage, included keyboards, and multiple Linux distribution choices makes these tablets an interesting option for anyone looking for a Linux-powered portable device.
