Breakthrough: Major French Retailer Unveils RTX 5070 Ti Release Date and Launch Time

Excitement is swirling in the tech community as Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics cards are begin to make appearances in various online stores. Among them is the renowned French retailer TopAchat, offering a sneak peek at these powerful new GPUs. The anticipation builds as these listings hint at a release date set for February 20th, with the availability to commence at precisely 3 p.m.

While previously, the spotlight was mainly on the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 models, the RTX 5070 Ti’s arrival is drawing significant attention. Although TopAchat doesn’t yet provide dedicated pages for these new models, there’s a buzz that the RTX 50 series, in general, will be in stock by the end of the month.

In the U.S., budget-conscious gamers and tech enthusiasts might wince at the RTX 5070 Ti’s entry price of $750. However, given the limited supply of the broader RTX 50 series, actual market prices could surge beyond expectations.

At CES 2025, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made waves by claiming that the $549 RTX 5070 could rival the RTX 4090 in performance, sparking intrigue and skepticism alike. The RTX 50 series GPUs’ allure is undeniably tied to DLSS 4, introducing the innovative Multi Frame Generation. Exclusive to the Blackwell series, this AI-driven technology promises significantly enhanced frame rates.

Despite the intrigue, the power jump from the previous generation seems less dramatic. The RTX 5070 Ti features 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, a step up from the 4070 Ti’s 7,680 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR6X memory. The standard RTX 5070, with its 6,144 CUDA cores and an upgrade to 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM, slightly edges past its predecessor.

The real question on enthusiasts’ minds is whether this latest advancement justifies investment, given that the leap in raw power isn’t overwhelmingly significant. However, for those eager to experience the full potential of DLSS 4, these models represent an enticing prospect — at least until more budget-friendly options like the RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti potentially hit the shelves in March.

For now, the gaming community waits in anticipation, debating whether Nvidia’s latest offerings are the upgrade they’ve been waiting for.
