Bluetti Launches FridgePower on Kickstarter, Bringing Portable Power With a Limited-Time Early-Bird Deal

Bluetti has introduced a new ultra-slim portable power station called FridgePower, and it’s built with one clear goal in mind: keeping your household refrigerator running when the power goes out. Now available through a Kickstarter campaign, FridgePower is designed to be a straightforward, plug-and-play backup solution that’s compact enough to fit into tight spaces while still delivering serious battery capacity.

One of the biggest talking points is the size. FridgePower measures just 580 x 350 x 75 mm (22.83 x 13.78 x 2.95 inches), giving it a low-profile, space-saving footprint compared to many traditional portable power stations. Despite the slim design, it weighs about 17.3 kg (37.9 lbs), reflecting the larger battery packed inside.

At the core of the Bluetti FridgePower is a 2,016 Wh LiFePO₄ battery. LiFePO₄ chemistry is popular for backup power because it’s built for durability and long service life, and Bluetti rates this unit for up to 4,000 discharge cycles. For households that want longer protection during extended blackouts, FridgePower is also expandable. By adding up to three BlueCell 200 expansion batteries, total capacity can scale up to 8,064 Wh. Bluetti claims that with expansion batteries in place, the system can provide up to four full days of refrigerator backup, depending on the fridge’s power draw and usage conditions.

For people who need seamless protection, FridgePower includes a 10 ms UPS switchover. That fast transfer time is designed to help keep your refrigerator running continuously during sudden outages, reducing the risk of spoiled food and temperature swings.

Bluetti also says FridgePower is engineered for harsh conditions, including operation in extreme cold down to -20°C (-4°F). That could make it especially appealing for garages, cabins, workshops, and other locations where temperatures drop well below freezing.

In terms of control and monitoring, the company offers multiple options. You can manage settings and track performance through the Bluetti companion app, or use the Display 1 magnetic screen for more detailed at-a-glance information. Hands-free fans also get voice control compatibility, with support for Alexa, Home Assistant, and Google Home.

Pricing on Kickstarter starts at $759 for the standalone FridgePower unit under a super early bird offer. Bluetti is also offering bundle tiers that combine the main unit with BlueCell 200 expansion batteries:
– Plus bundle (1x FridgePower + 1x BlueCell 200): $1,398
– Pro bundle (1x FridgePower + 2x BlueCell 200): $2,097
– Max bundle (1x FridgePower + 3x BlueCell 200): $2,699

Bluetti says shipments are expected to start in early June, making FridgePower a timely option for anyone looking to prepare for outages, storm season, or off-grid backup needs—especially if refrigerator protection is the top priority.
