Bigme B13 Pro brings a large color E Ink monitor to mobile work setups
The Bigme B13 Pro is a new 13.3-inch portable E Ink monitor designed for users who want a paper-like screen that stays readable in bright outdoor conditions. With its reflective display technology, the monitor is built to reduce glare and remain easy to view in direct sunlight, making it a practical choice for reading, writing, coding, note-taking, and productivity on the go.
The display uses a 4:3 aspect ratio and offers a sharp 3,200 x 2,400 resolution in black-and-white mode, reaching 300 PPI for crisp text and detailed visuals. When showing color content, the resolution is reduced to 1,600 x 1,200 at 150 PPI. That means it is best suited for static content, documents, web pages, dashboards, and reference material rather than fast-moving video or animation.
Even with a higher refresh rate, E Ink technology does not match the smooth motion of a traditional LCD or OLED panel. However, the trade-off is clear: the Bigme B13 Pro focuses on eye comfort, outdoor visibility, and a display experience that feels closer to paper. For users who spend long hours reading or working with text, this type of screen can be a valuable alternative to conventional monitors.
Portability is another major highlight. The Bigme B13 Pro measures just 5.6 millimeters thick and weighs 660 grams, making it slim and light enough to carry alongside a laptop or tablet. It can be propped up using a case or attached to a laptop display, giving users more flexibility when building a dual-screen or even triple-screen setup while traveling.
The monitor is compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, which makes it suitable for a wide range of devices. Whether paired with a laptop, smartphone, or tablet, it is aimed at users who want extra screen space without carrying a bulky traditional monitor.
The Bigme B13 Pro is currently available for preorder through the manufacturer’s online store. Pricing starts at $569, with additional import fees and shipping costs depending on the buyer’s location.
