Baseus Security X1 Pro Smart Security Camera Expands Availability to More Markets

Baseus has officially moved its X1 Pro Dual-Tracking Solar Security Camera from crowdfunding to general sale in the United States, with the smart outdoor camera now listed at Amazon US. The device originally debuted earlier in 2025 through a Kickstarter campaign that wrapped up on December 15, 2025. While backers are still waiting for fulfillment—Kickstarter currently shows an estimated delivery window of January 2026—shoppers can already purchase the camera at retail.

Right now, the Baseus X1 Pro is priced at $279.99 on Amazon US, with delivery timing shown for late December 2025. Availability appears tight, with the listing indicating fewer than 10 units remaining at the time of writing, and no clear guidance on when additional inventory may be restocked.

For Kickstarter backers, Baseus shared an update on the campaign’s closing day noting that an address collection survey would be sent out soon. The update did not include any revised shipping timeline beyond the existing estimate.

What makes the Baseus X1 Pro stand out is its dual-camera design built for wider coverage and smarter motion tracking. It uses two independently controllable 3K cameras that can move separately, offering up to a 300° horizontal panning range. The system is designed to intelligently track one or even two targets at once, and it includes up to 8x digital zoom to help you get a closer look when movement is detected.

Night monitoring is also a key focus. The camera includes a 100-lumen built-in spotlight, which helps enable color night vision—useful for identifying details like clothing colors or vehicle features after dark.

Power is handled through a solar-and-battery setup aimed at reducing maintenance. A 3W solar panel sits above the cameras, and Baseus claims that about 20 minutes of sunlight can provide enough power for 24 hours of operation. There’s also a backup battery rated for up to 150 days of runtime, which can be especially helpful during extended cloudy periods or when the camera is installed in a less sunny spot.

Because it’s built for outdoor use, the X1 Pro carries an IP65 weather-resistance rating and is rated to operate in temperatures from -20 to 50°C (-4 to 122°F). Storage is handled locally without requiring a subscription, with support for up to 512 GB via microSD (card not included), which may appeal to buyers looking to avoid monthly smart home fees.

With retail availability arriving before the crowdfunding estimated delivery date, the Baseus X1 Pro is positioned as an option for homeowners who want a solar-powered outdoor security camera with dual 3K lenses, intelligent tracking, and subscription-free local recording—assuming you can grab one before current stock runs out.
