AYN Confirms When the Next Thor and Odin 3 Pre-Order Wave Goes Live

AYN is getting ready to ramp things back up for its newest Android gaming handhelds, the Thor and the Odin 3. After offering both devices through staggered pre-order batches since their 2025 reveal, the company has now shared its latest shipping timeline and confirmed exactly when the next batch of pre-orders will open.

With the Chinese New Year holiday wrapped up, AYN says it’s starting by pushing out the third shipping batch of the AYN Thor. According to the company’s update, the Thor Base model will be the first to leave the warehouse, with shipments beginning this week. Buyers who ordered other Thor variants won’t be far behind, as those models are expected to start shipping next week.

On the ordering side, AYN also confirmed another wave of pre-orders for both handhelds. For the Thor, this upcoming sales window is the fourth pre-order batch overall. Previous batches have been moving steadily, with the first batch beginning shipments in October 2025 and the second batch shipping in January 2026, followed by the current third batch now in progress.

The Odin 3 is also getting a fresh pre-order window, and it will be the fifth batch for that device. AYN says the next pre-orders for both the Thor and the Odin 3 will open on March 1, giving new buyers another chance to secure a unit without waiting for retail availability.

If you’re comparing the hardware, the Odin 3 is built around the Snapdragon 8 Elite, positioning it as a high-end option for Android gaming and emulation. The Thor, meanwhile, is being offered in configurations that include either the Snapdragon 865 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, giving shoppers more flexibility depending on budget and performance needs.

As for delivery expectations, AYN says shipping for these newly opened March pre-order batches is planned to begin in April.

One more detail may matter to anyone who has been waiting: AYN notes that the upcoming March pre-orders won’t be impacted by the proposed price increase, since that change is expected to take effect in April. In other words, buyers who want to lock in current pricing may want to place an order when the next batch opens, rather than holding out and risking higher costs later.
