Ayaneo Announces Handheld Discontinuations and Upcoming Price Hikes

Ayaneo is shaking up its handheld lineup as rising component costs continue to ripple through the gaming hardware market. In a recent customer update shared via its community channels, the company confirmed two major changes: price increases are coming to several devices, and a few models will stop being produced once current inventory is gone.

This kind of move has become increasingly common across handheld gaming brands in recent weeks. Higher parts costs are forcing manufacturers to make tough decisions, whether that means charging more, limiting production runs, or ending certain products entirely. Ayaneo’s latest announcement makes it clear that some of its newest handhelds are also being affected.

Pocket Vert is nearing the end of the road
Ayaneo says it will not manufacture any new Pocket Vert units after the remaining stock sells out. The Pocket Vert was first shown in late July 2025, then later opened for pre-orders toward the end of December through a crowdfunding campaign. That campaign ended earlier than expected, and sales shifted to Ayaneo’s own store. Now, with only limited inventory left, the Pocket Vert is essentially a last-chance purchase for anyone who had it on their shortlist.

Pocket S Mini is also being discontinued after limited stock sells
The Pocket S Mini is in a similar situation. It was announced and later released in early 2026, meaning it has only been on the market for a short time. Despite that, Ayaneo has confirmed that no additional units are being produced, and whatever is currently available is all that will remain.

If you were considering the Pocket S Mini, there’s another deadline to keep in mind: Ayaneo’s free Pocket Air Mini compensation offer (provided to Pocket S Mini buyers due to a reduced battery capacity situation) is set to end on Wednesday, April 1.

Pocket DS production may stop after current orders
Ayaneo also addressed the Pocket DS, its dual-screen, Android-based handheld. The device first opened for pre-orders in August 2025. Ayaneo is now taking another batch of orders, but it’s small—about 200 units—with shipping expected to begin in mid-April. After that, the company says it’s uncertain whether additional batches will be produced, suggesting the Pocket DS could become another limited-run device depending on demand and parts availability.

Konkr Pocket Fit changes: one version disappears, another gets a phased return
Ayaneo’s Konkr lineup—positioned as a more affordable range of handhelds—has also been impacted. The Konkr Pocket Fit launched in two versions, one featuring a Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 and another using the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Ayaneo says the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 model has already shipped to buyers and is now no longer available. The Snapdragon 8 Elite version, which experienced delays, has begun shipping to backers. After all Snapdragon 8 Elite orders are fulfilled, Ayaneo plans to relaunch availability in phases.

Konkr Fit (Windows handheld) will be extremely limited
Ayaneo also reiterated that the Konkr Fit, the first Windows-powered handheld under the Konkr name, will be available in very limited quantities. Pre-orders are already open, and shipping is expected to begin at the end of April. While Ayaneo previously mentioned a cap of 200 units, the company now says production will be limited and based on actual order volume, reinforcing that availability will be tight.

More price changes may be on the way
Ayaneo hasn’t yet shared specifics about potential price increases for other products in its catalog. However, given the broader message—rising costs, limited production, and upcoming price adjustments—buyers should be prepared for more changes across the lineup over time.

For fans of Android handheld gaming, Windows handheld PCs, and compact portable consoles, this is a clear signal: if you’ve been waiting to pick up a specific Ayaneo model, availability and pricing may look very different in the near future.
