ASUS Unveils the Radeon RX 6750 GRE “Megalodon” Graphics Card

ASUS continues to expand its lineup with the introduction of the “Atlas Shark” or Megalodon Radeon RX 6750 GRE GPU. This card is part of their exclusive RDNA2 graphics range, aimed specifically at the Chinese market. Designed with cost-effectiveness in mind, the RX 6750 GRE 10GB model skips unnecessary features like RGB lighting and factory overclocking to keep the price competitive.

This version stands out with its pared-down specifications. Compared to the 12GB version, the 10GB model has a reduced TDP of 170W, compared to 230W, and includes fewer cores, offering 2304 instead of 2560. The memory has also been trimmed down to 10GB from 12GB, aligning with its streamlined approach.

Despite these reductions, the card still delivers reliable performance with AMD’s standard clock speeds, reaching up to 2450 MHz in Boost mode and 2189 MHz during gameplay, just as their reference specifications suggest.

One key thing to note about the RX 6750 GRE is its exclusivity to the Chinese market, making it difficult for international buyers to get their hands on one. However, for gamers globally, the RX 7600 XT continues to be a more accessible option, though it faces limited availability within China.

This strategy by ASUS underscores their commitment to providing region-specific solutions, allowing them to offer products that meet local market needs effectively.
