Asus Unveils ProArt PZ14: A Snapdragon X2 Elite 2-in-1 Featuring a Smooth 144Hz OLED Screen

Asus is refreshing its ProArt laptop lineup for CES 2026, and one of the biggest upgrades is aimed squarely at creators who want a sleek, ultra-portable machine without giving up speed or modern connectivity. Alongside a new version of the ProArt PX13, Asus has also moved beyond last year’s Snapdragon-based convertible by introducing an all-new model: the ProArt PZ14.

The ProArt PZ14 replaces the previous 13-inch-class approach with a larger 14-inch display, giving artists, designers, and on-the-go professionals more workspace while keeping the ProArt identity focused on productivity and creative workflows. The screen update is a standout on its own, delivering a sharp 2.8K resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio, paired with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Asus is also advertising up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness, a spec that should help when working in bright environments or under strong indoor lighting.

Powering the ProArt PZ14 is Qualcomm’s newer Snapdragon X2 Elite (X2E-88-100), a clear step up from the Snapdragon X Plus used in the earlier ProArt PZ13 convertible. With the move to the Snapdragon X2 architecture, Asus is positioning the PZ14 as a more capable ARM-based Windows laptop option for people who want strong performance in a thin-and-light form factor.

Connectivity and charging are also getting meaningful attention. The ProArt PZ14 supports Wi‑Fi 7 for faster wireless networking and improved performance on compatible routers, and it includes two USB 4 ports to cover modern high-speed peripherals, docks, and displays. Asus pairs that with a 75Wh battery and support for 100W wired charging, which should appeal to mobile users who want quicker top-ups during short breaks.

For now, Asus hasn’t announced official pricing or a release date for the ProArt PZ14 ahead of CES 2026. More details are expected once the company shares final configuration options and regional availability.
