Asus has officially shared the full details of its latest high-end gaming display, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen3, better known as the PG32UCDM3. After first appearing in early reports and then showing up at CES 2026, the monitor now has confirmed specifications, ports, pricing, and an expected release window.
The big upgrade is the newer QD-OLED panel, which keeps the sought-after combination of 4K resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate, while aiming to improve perceived contrast and reflections. Asus says the display uses a semi-glossy coating it markets as “BlackShield,” designed to help maintain deeper blacks and a cleaner image in brighter rooms compared to more reflective glossy finishes.
For HDR fans, the PG32UCDM3 is rated for up to 1,000 nits peak brightness in HDR and carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. It also targets creators and competitive gamers alike with 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, which should translate into richer color performance for HDR games and media.
Connectivity is clearly a focus. The PG32UCDM3 includes:
– Two HDMI 2.1 ports for modern consoles and PCs
– DisplayPort 2.1 with up to 80 Gbps bandwidth (UBHR20), a notable spec for users planning next-gen GPU setups
– USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, data support, and up to 90 W power delivery for laptop docking
– Three USB-A ports plus a USB-B upstream connection to tie everything together
One change to note: this Gen3 model drops the S/PDIF audio output found on the original PG32UCDM (though not present on the PG32UCDMR). Depending on your audio setup, that may or may not matter, but it’s worth knowing if you route sound through an optical connection.
As for pricing, Asus is positioning the PG32UCDM3 right where its predecessors launched. The monitor is set to debut at $1,299 in the US. Availability is expected “towards the end of Q1,” making it a near-term option for gamers shopping for a premium 32-inch 4K OLED monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate and modern port selection.
With its refreshed QD-OLED panel, strong HDR credentials, and DisplayPort 2.1 support, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM3 is shaping up to be one of Asus’ most compelling desktop gaming monitors of 2026—especially for buyers who want top-tier motion clarity without giving up 4K sharpness.
