Asus ZenScreen Duo MB14FCD brings a foldable dual-screen portable monitor to Canada
Asus has launched the ZenScreen Duo MB14FCD in Canada, giving laptop users, remote workers, creators, and frequent travelers a compact way to expand their screen space without carrying a full desktop monitor. The new portable display opens into a 21-inch dual-screen workspace, combining two 14-inch IPS panels in a foldable design built for multitasking on the go.
The ZenScreen Duo MB14FCD features two 14-inch displays, each offering a 1920 × 1200 resolution and a productivity-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio. When unfolded, the setup creates a larger workspace that can help users manage documents, spreadsheets, browser tabs, video calls, timelines, or coding windows more comfortably.
A 360-degree hinge gives the monitor added flexibility, allowing it to be used in both landscape and portrait orientations. This makes it suitable for a wide range of workflows, from editing long documents and comparing files side by side to monitoring chat windows, dashboards, or creative tools.
Each IPS screen supports 100% sRGB color coverage, making the monitor useful for general content work, presentations, and everyday productivity. The display reaches up to 350 nits of typical brightness and supports HDR10. Asus has also included TÜV Rheinland Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light certifications, which are designed to reduce eye strain during longer work sessions.
The monitor supports several viewing modes to adapt to different setups. Split mode lets users divide tasks across the two screens, while Extend mode expands the desktop for more room to work. Independent mode allows each display to function separately, and Mirror mode duplicates content, which can be helpful for presentations or sharing information with someone across a desk.
Connectivity is one of the key features of the ZenScreen Duo MB14FCD. It includes two USB-C ports with DisplayPort Alt Mode, along with a mini-HDMI port for broader device compatibility. USB-C power pass-through charging is also supported, allowing a compatible laptop to charge while connected to the monitor. This helps reduce cable clutter and makes the device more practical for mobile workstations.
Despite its dual-screen design, the monitor remains portable. It weighs 1.2 kg, or about 2.65 lb, and draws up to 13 W of power. The Asus ZenScreen Duo MB14FCD is now available in Canada, following its earlier availability in the United States. Pricing is set at US$349 and CA$499, with availability through Asus and Best Buy.
