ASUS Unveils ExpertBook P3 and B3 Laptops Powered by Intel Core Series 3 for Modern Professionals

ASUS has expanded its business laptop portfolio with the launch of the new ExpertBook P3 G2 and ExpertBook B3 G2, two professional-focused laptop families designed for productivity, security, mobility, and AI-assisted workflows. Both models are powered by Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors and will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch versions, giving users more flexibility based on their preferred screen size and portability needs.

The ASUS ExpertBook P3 G2 is aimed at professionals who need a reliable laptop for daily work, multitasking, remote collaboration, and extended productivity. It comes in two configurations: the 14-inch ExpertBook P3406CMA and the 16-inch ExpertBook P3606CMA. Both are equipped with Intel’s latest Core 7 Series 3 processor, also known as Wildcat Lake, featuring a 2+4 core layout designed to balance performance and battery efficiency.

This makes the ExpertBook P3 G2 a strong option for users who need a lightweight yet capable laptop for office tasks, presentations, cloud-based tools, web conferencing, and on-the-go work. The larger 16-inch model is likely to appeal to users who want more screen space for spreadsheets, documents, dashboards, and multitasking, while the 14-inch version should suit professionals who prioritize portability.

ASUS also introduced the ExpertBook B3 G2, a laptop line built with small businesses in mind. Like the P3 G2, the B3 G2 uses Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors with a 6-core configuration and Xe3-based integrated graphics. These laptops are designed to handle common business workloads smoothly while also supporting local AI processing through the built-in NPU.

Both the ExpertBook P3 G2 and B3 G2 can support AI-powered tasks thanks to the integrated neural processing unit, which delivers up to 17 NPU TOPS of AI performance. This allows the laptops to run certain AI workloads directly on the device, improving responsiveness and helping reduce reliance on cloud-based processing for supported features.

The ExpertBook B3 G2 will also be available in 14-inch and 16-inch versions, listed as the B3406CMA and B3606CMA. ASUS has focused on keeping these laptops durable and portable, with the 14-inch model weighing around 1.45 kg. The lightweight design should make them suitable for business users who travel frequently or move between meetings, offices, classrooms, and workspaces.

A key productivity feature across the lineup is the 180-degree lay-flat hinge. This makes it easier to share the screen during meetings, presentations, and collaborative sessions. It is a practical addition for business teams, educators, consultants, and professionals who often work face-to-face with clients or colleagues.

Display quality is another major focus. The new ExpertBook models feature a 2.5K anti-glare display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, offering sharper visuals and smoother motion compared to standard business laptop screens. The anti-glare coating should help improve visibility in bright offices or shared work environments, while the higher refresh rate can make everyday navigation feel more fluid.

For video calls and online meetings, the laptops include an FHD IR camera. This should provide clearer video quality for conferencing while also supporting secure facial recognition features. With hybrid work now a standard part of many businesses, improved webcam quality has become an important factor for professional laptops.

Security is one of the biggest selling points of the new ExpertBook P3 G2 and B3 G2. ASUS is shipping both laptop families with ASUS ExpertGuardian, a multi-layer security platform designed to protect business data, device integrity, and user privacy. This makes the laptops better suited for companies that need stronger protection against firmware attacks, unauthorized access, and system-level threats.

The devices are also compliant with NIST SP 800-193 standards, offering added assurance for organizations that prioritize firmware resilience and system recovery protections. ASUS is also promising five years of BIOS and driver updates, which is important for long-term business deployments where stability, compatibility, and security updates are essential.

TPM 2.0 support is included as well, adding hardware-based security for encryption, authentication, and sensitive business data protection. Combined with ExpertGuardian, these features position the new ExpertBook models as practical choices for small companies, managed IT environments, and professionals who handle confidential information.

While ASUS has not shared every specification in detail, the new ExpertBook P3 G2 and B3 G2 laptops can be configured with up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory and up to 4 TB of SSD storage. These upgrade options make the laptops suitable for heavier workloads, including large documents, business applications, multitasking, local file storage, and professional software tools.

With the ExpertBook P3 G2 and B3 G2, ASUS is targeting users who want modern business laptops with a strong mix of performance, portability, security, and AI readiness. The combination of Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors, built-in AI acceleration, high-resolution displays, enterprise-grade security, and long-term update support makes these laptops appealing options for professionals and small businesses looking for dependable work machines in 14-inch and 16-inch form factors.
