Asus has officially rolled out new Zenbook 14 configurations globally, introducing the UM3405 and UM3406 lineup with a consistent focus on display quality, battery life, and modern connectivity. If you’re shopping for a premium 14-inch OLED laptop powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen AI processors, these new models are positioned as some of the most compelling options in their class.
All of the newly announced UM3405 and UM3406 variants share the same core display-and-battery foundation. Asus pairs every model with a 75 Wh battery and a 1200p OLED panel designed for vibrant, high-contrast visuals. In HDR mode, the screen is rated for up to 600 nits of peak brightness and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, making it especially appealing for streaming, photo work, and anyone who values accurate, punchy color. The main drawback is that the refresh rate stays at 60 Hz, which may matter to users who prefer smoother scrolling or higher-frame-rate gaming.
Connectivity is also identical across the range, which makes choosing between configurations a lot simpler. Every model includes:
1x 3.5 mm headphone jack
1x HDMI 2.1 (TMDS)
1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery
1x USB4
Pricing and configurations vary by region, and Asus’ lineup has a slightly unusual twist in the way it scales. In the US, the new Zenbook 14 starts at $999.99, featuring an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 APU, 16 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. Interestingly, some models with the less powerful Ryzen AI 7 445 chip are offered with higher memory and storage, pushing the price higher depending on the configuration. The top Ryzen AI 7 445 versions reach up to $1,499 in the US when fitted with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD.
In the UK, the Zenbook 14 lineup begins at £1,249 with the Ryzen AI 7 445, 32 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage. Buyers in the Eurozone can get that same specification for €1,299.
With OLED visuals, a large 75 Wh battery, and a strong port selection that includes USB4 and HDMI 2.1, the latest Asus Zenbook 14 UM3405 and UM3406 models target people who want a thin-and-light laptop that still feels well-equipped for everyday work, creative tasks, and travel. The biggest decision point will likely come down to whether you prefer the entry price with the Ryzen AI 9 option or the higher-RAM, higher-storage configurations built around the Ryzen AI 7.
