ASRock’s X870 Pro RS motherboard has made a surprise early appearance on Amazon, showcasing its features and specifications ahead of the official launch. This latest addition to the X870 “AM5” lineup is aimed at the newest AMD Ryzen 9000 series CPUs and is priced attractively at $199 US.
The ASRock X870 Pro RS is a budget-friendly option featuring a robust 17-phase VRM design. While economical, it doesn’t skimp on features, offering a range of capabilities tailored for both performance and aesthetic appeal. Notably, this model listed on Amazon is the non-WiFi edition, meaning it doesn’t come with a built-in wireless adapter. The motherboard sports a sleek white-themed PCB accented with gray, alongside decent heatsinks for the VRM and M.2 slots. To enhance visual appeal, RGB lighting is integrated as well.
One of the key highlights of the X870 Pro RS is its memory support. It can handle up to 256 GB of DDR5 RAM, with speeds reaching up to 8000 MHz.
