ASRock is expanding its lineup for PC builders with a new Pro series of power supply units designed for modern gaming rigs, especially systems pairing today’s demanding components with next-generation NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards. With a focus on reliability, cleaner builds, and up-to-date power standards, these PSUs target enthusiasts who want stable power delivery without the usual cable clutter.
The new ASRock Pro series arrives in three wattage options: 750W, 850W, and 1000W. That spread is aimed squarely at gamers building anything from a strong mid-range setup to a no-compromises high-end machine. The 750W and 850W models are positioned as solid matches for builds using GPUs in the RTX 5070 and RTX 5080 class, while the 1000W version is meant to handle more power-hungry flagship configurations, including systems built around an RTX 5090.
To help reduce the chance of improper GPU power connection, each Pro series PSU includes a dual-color connector designed to make correct insertion easier, which can also help mitigate the risk of connector-related issues. While the cable resembles ASRock’s L-type 12V-2×6 connector, it is not the same and does not include a built-in NTC sensor for graphics card protection. Even so, the Pro series is built to current standards, with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compliance to better support modern GPUs using 12V-2×6 connectors.
Cable management is another key focus. These power supplies are fully modular, so builders can install only the cables they actually need. ASRock also includes flexible, flat cables intended to make routing simpler and produce a cleaner-looking interior—an increasingly important detail for tempered-glass cases and airflow-focused builds.
On efficiency, the ASRock Pro series carries an 80 Plus Gold rating, delivering over 90% efficiency at typical loads. The units are also Cybenetics Gold-certified, reinforcing the energy-efficiency positioning for users who want strong performance without unnecessary power waste or excess heat.
ASRock also highlights durability features, including “premium” Japanese main capacitors designed to improve long-term stability and reliability. In addition, the units include +5 Voltage Compensation (referred to as 5V BOOST) to help maintain steadier output for improved system stability.
Each PSU in the ASRock Pro series is backed by a 10-year warranty. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but the feature set and specifications suggest ASRock is aiming these units at builders who want a future-ready ATX 3.1 power supply with PCIe 5.1 support, strong efficiency, and a cable setup built for modern high-performance PCs.
