AORUS expands RTX 50 Infinity graphics card lineup with RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070 models
AORUS is preparing to bring its striking Infinity graphics card design to more NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs, giving PC builders more premium options beyond the flagship RTX 5090. After introducing the Infinity concept earlier this year, the company is now working on additional models, including the GeForce RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070.
The move means the AORUS RTX 50 Infinity lineup will not be limited to top-tier enthusiasts chasing the most powerful GPU. Instead, the series is expected to offer a broader range of choices for gamers, creators, and high-end PC users who want a distinctive design, advanced cooling, and a premium build.
The AORUS GeForce RTX 50 Infinity graphics cards use a triple-slot design with dimensions of 330 x 145 x 65 mm. At first glance, the cooler may appear to use a dual-fan layout, but the design is more sophisticated than it looks. AORUS has integrated a cleverly arranged triple-fan cooling solution inside the shroud, giving the cards both a clean visual style and stronger thermal performance.
One of the standout features of the Infinity series is its all-metal construction. This gives the graphics cards a more premium feel while also helping them stand apart from standard RTX 50 series models. The design language is sleek, modern, and minimal, making these GPUs attractive options for showcase gaming PCs and custom builds.
The original RTX 5090 Infinity model used a square-shaped Founders Edition-style PCB, but the upcoming RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070 Infinity cards are expected to use standard PCB layouts. Cooling is a major focus for the AORUS RTX 50 Infinity series. These graphics cards feature the company’s Windforce Hyperburst cooling system, which includes dual Hawk fans, a direct-touch vapor chamber, superconducting heat pipes, and a dual flow-through airflow design. The combination is built to move heat away from the GPU efficiently while keeping noise levels under control.
AORUS is also using composite metal grease as the thermal interface material for the RTX 50 Infinity lineup. This is designed to improve heat transfer between the GPU and the cooling assembly. In addition, the VRAM and MOSFET components are treated with server-grade thermal conductive gel, helping maintain stable temperatures across critical parts of the graphics card.
According to AORUS, the updated cooling system reduces airflow turbulence and noise while improving overall cooling performance. The company claims the cooler can deliver up to a 53.6 percent increase in air pressure and a 12.5 percent increase in air volume. These improvements could be especially useful for users who run demanding games, creative workloads, or GPU-heavy applications for long sessions.
Another interesting part of the Infinity cooler is the third fan positioned in the center of the shroud. AORUS refers to this as the “Overdrive” fan. When the graphics card needs additional cooling, the Overdrive fan can be activated to increase airflow and help the GPU sustain higher performance. This feature is aimed at keeping the card stable when it is operating at its maximum potential.
The Infinity series is also getting new style options. While the design was originally shown in white and black, AORUS is preparing additional finishes, including an all-white version and a DARK Wood variant. These new designs should appeal to users who want their graphics card to match a specific PC build theme, whether that is a clean white gaming setup or a more unique, premium-looking system.
