AOC Unveils Next-Gen Gaming Monitor Featuring 5-Layer Tandem QD-OLED and Blazing 1300-Nit Peak Brightness

AOC is expanding its Agon Pro lineup again with the new AGP346UCSD gaming monitor, a direct successor to the AG346UCD that brings several meaningful upgrades for competitive and immersive ultrawide play. If you’ve been waiting for a 34-inch QD-OLED ultrawide that pushes both HDR brightness and refresh rate to the next level, this model is designed to check both boxes.

The AOC Agon Pro AGP346UCSD features a 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED panel with a 1800R curve and a 3440 x 1440 (UWQHD) resolution, keeping the same core size and pixel format many PC gamers prefer for a wider field of view without stepping up to the heavier GPU demands of 4K. The big story, however, is what’s behind the pixels.

AOC says the monitor uses a five-layer tandem OLED panel, which helps drive substantially higher peak brightness. The display is rated for up to 1,300 nits in small highlight areas, positioning it as a strong option for HDR gaming where realistic specular highlights and punchy contrast can dramatically improve the experience. Combined with OLED’s natural strengths—true blacks, excellent contrast, and near-instant response times—the AGP346UCSD is built to deliver the kind of high-impact HDR visuals that fast-paced games and cinematic titles benefit from most.

Speed is another major leap forward. AOC has boosted the refresh rate to a striking 360 Hz, a significant increase over the previous generation’s 175 Hz. For esports-focused players and anyone sensitive to motion clarity, a 360 Hz ultrawide can make tracking fast targets and reducing motion blur much easier, especially when paired with OLED’s rapid pixel response.

Text clarity has also been addressed. The AGP346UCSD uses a V-Stripe subpixel layout, a design intended to reduce the color fringing that earlier QD-OLED displays could show around fine text and UI elements. That improvement can matter not only for everyday desktop use, but also for games with lots of HUD text, minimaps, and menus.

Color performance is another area where AOC is aiming high. The company claims 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 97% coverage of Adobe RGB, along with a Delta E (ΔE) value below 1. If those numbers hold up in real-world testing, the monitor could pull double duty—serving as both a high-end gaming display and a strong choice for color-sensitive creative work like photo editing and video production.

On connectivity, AOC includes a well-rounded port selection geared toward modern PCs and consoles. You get dual HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 2.1 input, along with three USB 3.2 Type-A ports for peripherals. There’s also a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and 15W power delivery, useful for quick laptop connections and simple desk setups.

For everyday comfort and setup flexibility, the monitor includes built-in speakers and a stand that supports tilt, swivel, and height adjustment. As you’d expect for a 34-inch ultrawide, pivot rotation isn’t included.

Pricing and release timing haven’t been confirmed yet, but the specifications make it clear what AOC is targeting: a premium 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED gaming monitor experience with standout HDR brightness, ultra-high refresh rate performance, and improved text rendering—features that collectively aim to make the AGP346UCSD one of the most compelling 1440p ultrawide OLED monitor options to watch.
