AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 XT is making waves in the market, with recent data revealing its impressive sales performance at MindFactory, one of the largest retailers in Europe. This new contender in the graphics card arena has captured consumer interest not only because of its robust performance but also due to AMD’s savvy inventory management. Unlike NVIDIA, AMD has ensured that its products are readily available to eager buyers, which is now clearly reflected in sales figures.
According to TechEpiphany, an online source for tech enthusiasts, the Radeon RX 9070 XT saw a whopping 245 units sold in just one week at MindFactory. This number dwarfs the sales of its competitors, including the GeForce RTX 5070, which moved only 40 units, and the RTX 5080, which had similar struggles. Such numbers underscore the strong market presence that AMD’s RDNA 4 series currently enjoys.
NVIDIA, while known for its powerful graphics cards, is struggling to keep up with demand. Many models from their RTX 50 series are out of stock, and those available are priced far above their suggested retail prices. The mid-range RTX 5060 series launch was anticipated for some relief in the market, but they too suffer from inflated pricing, deterring potential buyers. Although AMD also faces challenges in maintaining MSRP due to high demand, they still offer a range of in-stock options.
One notable absence from MindFactory’s shelves is the GeForce RTX 5090, which wasn’t sold at all, highlighting its rarity and suggesting supply issues. Meanwhile, AMD continues to forge ahead, not only with high-end models but also planning to capture the budget segment with its forthcoming RX 9060 series.
With AMD holding the crown in graphics card sales at MindFactory, it’s evident that they are capitalizing on current market dynamics, positioning themselves as a formidable force in the tech industry. Whether this trend will continue and how NVIDIA will respond remains to be seen, but for now, AMD seems to have the upper hand.
