AMD used Computex 2026 to put gaming performance back in the spotlight, introducing two Ryzen processors built around its popular 3D V-Cache technology. The company has revealed the new Ryzen 7 7700X3D for the AM5 platform, along with a special return of one of its most iconic gaming chips: the Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary Edition.

Both processors are aimed at PC gamers who want strong frame rates, large cache capacity, and an upgrade path that makes sense depending on their current system.

The return of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is especially notable. AMD is bringing the chip back to celebrate 10 years of the AM4 platform, a socket that has had one of the longest and most successful runs in modern desktop PC history.
