Amazfit Unveils Active 3 Premium: A Sleek New Smartwatch Built for Runners

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium smartwatch has officially arrived in Europe, bringing a fresh option for runners and fitness fans who want premium materials, detailed performance insights, and long battery life. Early rumors about this wearable started circulating in early February 2026 after it was spotted in the Zepp app’s source code, and it now launches as the next step after the Amazfit Active 2 series from early 2025.

Built with runners in mind, the Amazfit Active 3 Premium features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 466 x 466 resolution and an impressive peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits for better visibility outdoors. The screen is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass, and the watch is finished with a stainless steel frame and four physical buttons for easier control during workouts. It ships with a silicone strap and comes in at 45 x 45 x 11 mm, weighing 54.6 g including the strap.

Battery life is another big highlight. With a 658 mAh battery, Zepp Health estimates up to around 13 days of typical use, making it a strong pick for anyone who doesn’t want to charge a smartwatch every day or two.

For training and performance tracking, the Active 3 Premium packs a range of running-focused features. It includes dedicated running courses and advanced metrics such as running power, lactate threshold, and ground contact time, helping runners better understand efficiency, intensity, and recovery. Workout options go beyond the basics too, with sessions like Aerobic Endurance Foundation and Fartlek runs, alongside familiar modes such as Walking and Outdoor Cycling.

Navigation and route support are also built in. The watch offers GPS navigation with compatibility for six satellite systems, plus 4GB of storage that can be used for maps and other downloads. On the health side, users can track heart rate variability (HRV), VO2 Max, and sleep quality, while BioCharge helps monitor daily energy levels.

For everyday convenience, the watch includes a built-in speaker and microphone for Bluetooth calling. It also supports the Zepp Flow voice assistant, including speech-to-text replies on Android devices.

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium is now available in multiple markets worldwide, including Europe. In the UK and Germany, it’s priced at £169.90/€169.90. Buyers can choose from three colors: Dark Blue, Black, and Gold/White. As for whether a standard Amazfit Active 3 model will be released later, there’s no confirmation yet. A US release is expected in the near future.
