Amazfit is starting 2026 with a fresh update for the T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch, delivering new training tools aimed at runners, cyclists, and anyone who likes to fine-tune workouts. The rollout brings software version 4.3.8.2, following the previous update released in December (version 4.1.6.7), which introduced BioCharge-related additions and improved wrist raise-to-wake performance.
The most notable upgrades in version 4.3.8.2 are geared toward running. If you use Outdoor Running or Trail Running, you’ll now see two new metrics: Equivalent Pace and Average Equivalent Pace. These are designed to give you a clearer picture of effort and pacing, helping make comparisons between runs easier—especially when terrain or conditions change.
Indoor cyclists also get a meaningful boost. The Indoor Cycling activity can now pull data from common external accessories, including a connected speed sensor, cadence sensor, or power meter. On top of that, the watch adds an option to manually enter the distance traveled after you finish an indoor cycling session, which is handy if your setup doesn’t automatically calculate distance.
Zepp Coach, Amazfit’s built-in training guidance feature, gets usability improvements aimed at keeping your plan flexible. You can now skip today’s workout with a single tap, and you can also adjust your weekly workout schedule more easily—useful when life gets busy but you still want to stay on track without manually rebuilding your plan.
Cyclists who use navigation will notice another change: Outdoor Cycling routes now support distances up to 100 km. Meanwhile, HYROX athletes get better workout visibility, as the HYROX Zone time is now displayed within the workout timeline in the Zepp app for HYROX Race sessions.
There’s also a new voice memo recording feature that works during workouts, making it easier to capture quick notes on the go—like route reminders, interval tweaks, or how you felt during a specific segment—without stopping to type anything out.
Beyond new features, the update includes a set of optimizations and quality improvements. Amazfit notes refinements to the altitude algorithm, along with an improvement to how the segment count is displayed on the lap alert page during workouts.
As with many smartwatch updates, availability may vary by region and can take time to reach every T-Rex 3 Pro user. Once it’s available for your device, you’ll be able to download and install software version 4.3.8.2 through the Zepp app.
