Advanced Power Electronics Co. (APEC) is seeing a powerful new growth engine as high-performance AI servers continue to reshape the data center market. The company says the rapid buildout of AI infrastructure is pushing demand higher for medium- and high-voltage power devices, especially the kinds of components needed to handle heavy computing loads efficiently and reliably.
According to APEC, high-power AI servers are increasingly driving purchasing momentum for medium- and high-voltage power solutions, reflecting how energy-hungry AI workloads have become. As data centers scale up to support AI model training and inference, the need for robust power management is rising in tandem—creating stronger demand for medium- and high-voltage power devices used in server power systems.
The company also expects a broader recovery in high-voltage components, forecasting that demand for high-voltage parts will improve in 2026. This outlook suggests that customers are preparing for continued expansion in AI server deployments and next-generation infrastructure upgrades, both of which typically require higher-capacity power components to maintain stable performance while managing heat and energy use.
Alongside power devices, APEC highlighted another fast-growing product category benefiting from the AI boom: cooling fans. With AI servers running hotter and harder than many traditional workloads, cooling has become a critical piece of data center design. APEC noted that cooling fans used in both AI servers and general-purpose servers are delivering strong growth.
That momentum is already reflected in the company’s revenue mix. In 2025, fan products made up 27% of APEC’s total revenue, underscoring how demand for server cooling solutions is becoming a significant business driver rather than a secondary add-on. Looking ahead, APEC expects that share to expand further in 2026 as AI server installations accelerate and data centers continue investing in thermal management.
With AI server power demand climbing, high-voltage component recovery expected in 2026, and cooling fan sales growing rapidly, APEC is positioning itself at the intersection of two essential data center priorities: efficient power delivery and reliable cooling performance.
