Acer Unveils Cutting-Edge IPS and OLED Monitors for Gamers and Pros at Computex

Acer expands Nitro and ProDesigner monitor lineups with 1000Hz gaming display, 5K dual-mode screens, and QD-OLED creator panels

Acer has introduced a fresh wave of high-performance monitors across its Nitro and ProDesigner families, targeting both competitive gamers and creative professionals. The new lineup includes ultra-fast gaming displays with dual-mode refresh rate options, a 5K ultrawide model, and color-accurate QD-OLED monitors designed for demanding content creation workflows.

The highlight of Acer’s latest Nitro gaming monitor series is the Nitro XV273U F5, a 27-inch QHD display built for esports players who want extreme speed. It features a fast IPS panel, a sharp 2560 x 1440 resolution, and an impressive 0.5ms gray-to-gray response time. By default, the monitor runs at up to 500Hz at QHD resolution, but users can switch to a lower HD resolution to unlock a blazing-fast 1000Hz refresh rate through Dynamic Frequency and Resolution technology.

For competitive gaming, that kind of speed can make a visible difference, especially in fast-paced shooters, racing titles, and reaction-heavy multiplayer games. Acer has also included AMD FreeSync Premium support and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility, helping reduce screen tearing and stuttering for a smoother gaming experience.

Acer also revealed the Nitro XV320QX, a 31.5-inch 5K gaming monitor designed for players who want both image clarity and high refresh rates. This model also uses a fast IPS panel with a 0.5ms response time. At its full 5K resolution, it can deliver up to 165Hz, making it suitable for immersive single-player games, high-resolution visuals, and productivity. When switched to QHD mode, the refresh rate rises to 330Hz, giving gamers the flexibility to prioritize speed when needed.

Another major addition is the Acer Nitro XF345CKR P, an ultrawide gaming monitor built for users who want a wider field of view and premium performance. This display supports dual-mode operation as well, offering up to 5K resolution at 180Hz or WQHD at up to 360Hz. The combination of ultrawide immersion and high refresh rate makes it appealing for simulation games, racing titles, open-world adventures, and multitasking setups.

Beyond gaming, Acer is also strengthening its ProDesigner monitor range for creators, editors, and visual professionals. The ProDesigner PE320QK G0 is a 31.5-inch UHD monitor equipped with a QD-OLED panel. This display is built for accurate color reproduction, deep blacks, and strong contrast, making it a strong option for photo editing, video grading, digital art, animation, and design work.

The PE320QK G0 is Calman verified and offers a Delta E of less than 1, indicating extremely accurate color performance. It also covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 99% of Adobe RGB, which are important standards for professional creative workflows. Despite being aimed at professionals, the monitor also includes a 240Hz refresh rate, giving it enough speed to appeal to users who want a premium display for both work and gaming.

Acer also introduced the CE320QK G, a similar 31.5-inch UHD QD-OLED monitor with comparable specifications, though it is not part of the ProDesigner branding. It appears to target users who want high-end image quality and fast performance without necessarily fitting into the professional design-focused category.

Rounding out the announcements is the Acer PM131QT, a compact portable display with a 12.3-inch screen. It features a 1920 x 720 resolution, an IPS panel, and 5-point touch support. Its small size and touch functionality make it useful for productivity, secondary-screen setups, mobile workstations, control panels, and on-the-go workflows.

With these new monitors, Acer is clearly aiming to cover multiple segments of the display market. The Nitro models focus on extreme gaming performance, offering high refresh rates, low response times, and flexible dual-mode resolution options. Meanwhile, the ProDesigner and QD-OLED displays focus on creators who need precision, wide color coverage, and professional-grade image quality.

Acer’s latest monitor lineup shows how quickly display technology is advancing. Gamers can now choose between sharper 5K visuals and ultra-fast refresh rates, while creative professionals get access to QD-OLED panels with exceptional color accuracy. Whether for esports, high-resolution gaming, content creation, or portable productivity, Acer’s new displays give users more specialized options than ever.
