Co-op tabletop nights are supposed to be easy: grab friends, pick characters, and dive into an adventure. In reality, they often stall out for one predictable reason—someone has to be the Dungeon Master, and not everyone has the time (or desire) to run a full campaign. Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked is designed to remove that roadblock and keep the focus where most groups want it: teamwork, tactics, and fast-moving dungeon crawls.
Now available on Steam as of November 20, 2025, Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked is a co-op, turn-based “digital tabletop” strategy RPG set in the Forgotten Realms. Developed and published by Resolution Games, it aims to capture the feel of moving miniatures across a board—choosing heroes, planning turns, and battling through dangerous encounters—while letting the game handle the rules, pacing, and structure. That means you can jump into a session without needing a human DM to prep, manage, and improvise for hours.
The core loop is intentionally approachable. Instead of demanding a weekend-long commitment, Battlemarked leans into a curated campaign style with clear objectives and decision moments that fit well into shorter play sessions. It’s more about “set up and play” than turning your schedule upside down to keep a tabletop campaign alive.
One of the biggest reasons the game is gaining traction is its wide multiplayer reach. Battlemarked supports cross-play across Steam (including PCVR), PlayStation (PS5 and PS VR2), and Meta’s Horizon Store ecosystem. For a co-op tactics game, that matters—your group doesn’t have to buy into the exact same hardware ecosystem just to play together.
Early player reception on Steam has been strong, landing in the “Very Positive” range with around 80% positive ratings across hundreds of reviews. At the same time, regular players have pointed out a few rough edges they’d like to see improved, including the lack of a battle log, unclear move visibility, missing bot progression, and occasional sync issues during multiplayer.
Resolution Games also appears to be treating Battlemarked like a living tabletop box that evolves over time. Community updates mention limited-time content like a side quest themed around Simril (the festival of light), plus practical improvements such as allowing solo players to run a full party of custom heroes. Quality-of-life updates have also touched turn order and multiplayer party management—changes that can make a big difference in a game built around smooth, cooperative sessions.
Controller support is fully included, and the game is playable on Steam Deck, which makes it easier to treat Battlemarked like a pick-up-and-play tactics experience rather than something you only launch at a desk.
Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked is priced at $29.99 on Steam, positioning it as a premium co-op strategy RPG that aims to deliver the D&D vibe—party-based adventuring, dungeon danger, and tactical choices—without requiring a dedicated Dungeon Master to keep the night running.
