ZOTAC has unveiled more powerful options in the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER lineup, showcasing NVIDIA’s remarkable AD102 GPUs in a fresh batch of high-performance graphics cards. These models are akin to RTX 4090s, yet they sport a lower-powered AD102-175 GPU SKU and reduced GDDR6X memory modules. Despite these differences, they maintain the robust cooling systems typical of higher-end models.
For gamers sharp enough to delve into the details, these cards present an enticing prospect. They bear the bold cooling capacity of models designed for over 450W TDP, but, in reality, the GPU only demands around 285W. This opens up lucrative possibilities for overclocking and quieter performance, all while enjoying a substantial cooler—sometimes as thick as 3.5 slots.
ZOTAC’s recent launches add two more gems to their RTX 4070 Ti SUPER collection. Drawing from the RTX 4090 design, yet distinct from the prior SUPER SOLID series, these new models include the sleek PGF OC and AMP EXTREME. Both feature aerodynamic designs and are available in two striking colors: white and black. These variants are fashioned with a more streamlined 3-slot thickness, though the cooler slightly exceeds this.
The technical specifications of these new entries are as impressive as their aesthetics. They feature the AD102-175 GPU with a configuration that supports 8,448 CUDA cores and comes with 16GB of GDDR6X memory. Powered through a 256-bit memory bus, the cards enjoy a TDP set at 285W and are fitted with a single 16-pin power connector. Accompanying the hardware is a 3×8-pin to 16-pin power adapter, though only two 8-pin cables are necessary to meet its actual power needs.
What’s particularly noteworthy is the PGF OC’s length, stretching to an impressive 38.1 cm, setting it apart as one of the largest cards on the market—and the biggest among the 4070 Ti SUPER series. This gives it a significant presence and pushes boundaries over its SUPER SOLID predecessor by a notable five centimeters.
While these innovations are currently exclusive to the Chinese market, their technical allure and potential remain attractive to global enthusiasts. These new additions offer powerful performance coupled with intriguing design choices—an upgrade well worth considering for those invested in cutting-edge gaming technology. Would you go for one of these powerhouses if they became available to you?
