ZOTAC Showcases RTX 50 Series Prototypes and a Tiny RTX 5080-Powered Mini PC at Computex
ZOTAC has brought several eye-catching RTX 50 series products to Computex, including new graphics card concepts, special 20th anniversary designs, and a compact powerhouse that the company describes as the world’s smallest PC equipped with a desktop-grade GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card.
The lineup includes two RTX 5080 prototype graphics cards, a refreshed RTX 5070 Ti model with a premium anniversary-inspired design, and the Magnus One Ultra 20th Anniversary Edition mini PC. Together, these products highlight ZOTAC’s focus on compact gaming hardware, advanced cooling, and high-end performance in smaller form factors.
One of the standout products is the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti SOLID SFF OC Edition. This version builds on the original compact design but adds a striking gold-themed finish, giving the card a more premium and celebratory look.
Despite the visual refresh, the card keeps its practical small-form-factor approach. It uses a 2-slot design and ZOTAC’s IceStorm 2.0 cooling system, making it suitable for compact gaming PCs where space is limited. It is also part of the SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce category, which is designed for builders who want powerful graphics performance without moving to a large desktop case.
Another useful feature is the Power Safety Light, which helps confirm that the graphics card is connected properly. This small detail can be especially helpful for PC builders who want quick visual confirmation during installation. The card also includes a stylish backplate with a mirror-like finish and engraved branding, giving it a more polished appearance inside windowed PC cases.
ZOTAC also displayed two new GeForce RTX 5080 prototype graphics cards, both focused on liquid cooling but aimed at different types of PC enthusiasts.
The first RTX 5080 prototype uses an open-loop water-cooling design. It features a large front-mounted water block and a dual-slot layout, making it a strong option for custom liquid-cooled gaming PCs. The water block includes integrated RGB lighting, adding a customizable visual element for users who want their builds to stand out. A backplate is also included, helping with both structure and aesthetics.
The second prototype is the ZOTAC GeForce RTX 5080 ArcticStorm AIO. Unlike the open-loop model, this version uses a closed-loop all-in-one liquid cooling system. It comes with a large 360mm radiator, designed to provide strong cooling performance for the high-end RTX 5080 GPU.
The ArcticStorm AIO model also features a mirror-finish front design and a reflective glass panel, giving it a sleek and premium look. Its long tubing is designed to make installation easier across a wide range of PC cases, offering more flexibility for builders who want powerful graphics performance without setting up a full custom water-cooling loop.
Beyond graphics cards, ZOTAC also revealed the Magnus One Ultra 20th Anniversary Edition, officially known as the EU275080C. This compact desktop is one of the most interesting products in the showcase because it combines a desktop-grade GeForce RTX 5080 with a relatively small 11.46-liter chassis.
ZOTAC claims this system is the world’s smallest PC featuring a desktop-class RTX 5080 graphics card. While it is larger than the smallest mini PCs on the market, it remains impressively compact considering the level of hardware inside.
The Magnus One Ultra 20th Anniversary Edition is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor with 20 cores. For graphics, it uses a ZOTAC GeForce RTX 5080 with 16GB of memory, giving the system serious gaming, creator, and AI performance potential.
Memory support is also flexible. The system includes dual DDR5 DIMM slots, supporting up to 6400 MT/s CSODIMM and 5600 MT/s SODIMM memory, with a maximum capacity of up to 96GB. For storage, it offers two M.2 slots, including one PCIe Gen5 x4 slot and one PCIe Gen4 x4 slot, allowing users to install fast NVMe SSDs.
Networking is another strong point. The Magnus One Ultra includes both 5GbE and 1GbE Ethernet LAN, along with Wi-Fi 7 support for modern wireless connectivity. This makes it suitable for high-speed gaming, large file transfers, streaming, and demanding professional workloads.
The compact PC also includes a generous selection of ports. Its I/O options include one Thunderbolt 4 port, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. Display connectivity includes three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs, one HDMI 2.1b port, and one HDMI 2.0 port, making it capable of supporting multiple high-resolution monitors.
To power the high-end components, ZOTAC has included an 850W power supply. That is a notable inclusion for a compact system with a desktop-class RTX 5080, as it gives the hardware enough headroom for demanding gaming and creative workloads.
ZOTAC’s Computex showcase makes it clear that the company is pushing hard into the high-performance compact PC space. The RTX 5070 Ti SOLID SFF OC Edition targets small-form-factor gamers who want powerful hardware with a premium look, while the RTX 5080 liquid-cooled prototypes show what may be possible for enthusiasts chasing lower temperatures and quieter operation.
The Magnus One Ultra 20th Anniversary Edition may be the most exciting reveal for users who want desktop-class gaming performance without building a full-size tower. With a Core Ultra 7 processor, RTX 5080 graphics, fast DDR5 memory support, modern storage options, Wi-Fi 7, and a compact chassis, it could appeal to gamers, streamers, content creators, and professionals who need serious performance in a smaller footprint.
ZOTAC has not only used Computex to celebrate its 20th anniversary but also to show where compact gaming hardware may be heading next: smaller systems, stronger GPUs, smarter cooling, and more premium designs.
