XTU S7 Pro Max Launches With 4K Capture, 50MP 1/1.28-Inch Sensor, and 14-Stop Dynamic Range

XTU S7 Pro Max 4K Action Camera Launches With 14-Stop Dynamic Range, AI Night Vision, and 200-Minute Battery Life

XTU, also known as XTUCAM, has introduced the S7 Pro Max, a new 4K action camera designed for creators, cyclists, travelers, vloggers, and outdoor adventurers who need compact hardware with strong video features. The camera’s biggest highlight is its 14 stops of dynamic range, giving users more detail in bright highlights and dark shadows when shooting high-contrast scenes.

At the heart of the XTU S7 Pro Max is a large 1/1.28-inch RYYB sensor paired with AI night vision technology. This setup is built to improve low-light performance, making the camera useful for evening rides, night walks, camping trips, city footage, and other darker shooting environments. The wide-angle lens offers a 158-degree field of view, helping capture more of the scene in action-packed situations.

For video recording, the XTU S7 Pro Max can shoot 4K footage at up to 50 frames per second. It also supports up to 50 seconds of pre-recording, a useful feature for fast-moving moments where the best part may happen before the record button is pressed. The camera can automatically detect rotation and switch between landscape and portrait recording, making it convenient for both traditional videos and social media content.

Beyond 4K, the camera supports 2.7K video at up to 50 fps and 1080p recording at up to 60 fps. Footage can be saved to a microSD card with support for capacities up to 512 GB. For users who want more flexibility in post-production, the camera includes an X-Log file mode that records with up to 14 stops of dynamic range.

The S7 Pro Max is not limited to video. It can also capture 50 MP still photos and create 6K time-lapse videos, giving content creators more options for travel sequences, scenic landscapes, construction progress, sunrise shots, and creative storytelling.

To keep footage smooth, XTU has equipped the S7 Pro Max with Super Stabilization 5.0 electronic image stabilization. It also includes 360-degree horizon correction, helping maintain level footage even when the camera tilts, rotates, or is mounted on moving gear. This makes it well-suited for biking, skating, hiking, skiing, and handheld filming.

The camera includes a 1.4-inch front display for vlogging and selfie-style framing, while the larger 2.29-inch rear touchscreen can be used to adjust settings, preview shots, and review captured content. Users can control the camera through the touchscreen or with voice commands, which can be especially useful when the device is mounted on a helmet, bicycle, or tripod.

Battery life is another strong point. The S7 Pro Max features a 1,800 mAh battery that is rated for up to 200 minutes of recording at 1080p 30 fps. XTU says the battery can recharge to 80% in about 46 minutes, reducing downtime between shoots.

For mounting, the action camera uses a magnetic quick-release system that allows it to be attached quickly to bikes and other surfaces when paired with compatible accessories. The compact body measures 70.4 × 44.45 × 28.98 mm and weighs 138 g, making it portable enough for everyday carry while still offering advanced recording tools.

The XTU S7 Pro Max 4K action camera is available now for $179.99 through the company’s official store, with wider retail availability expected soon. For users looking for an affordable 4K action camera with high dynamic range, AI night vision, long battery life, and strong stabilization, the S7 Pro Max enters the market as a feature-packed option for adventure and content creation.
