XPPen Artist Ultra 14 Debuts with OLED Multi-Touch Display and Dual Stylus Power

XPPen Artist Ultra 14 Debuts With a 2.8K OLED Display, Touch Controls, and Single-Cable USB-C Setup

XPPen has introduced the Artist Ultra 14, a new portable drawing display designed for digital artists, illustrators, photographers, animators, and video editors who want a compact but color-accurate creative workspace. The tablet combines a slim 14-inch OLED touchscreen, professional color calibration, customizable controls, and simple USB-C connectivity in a lightweight aluminum body.

One of the biggest highlights of the XPPen Artist Ultra 14 is its 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The screen uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, giving creators extra vertical space for drawing, editing timelines, working with reference images, or managing software panels. The OLED panel also delivers deep blacks, strong contrast, and vibrant color output, making it suitable for visual work where accuracy matters.

The display features a 10-bit True RGB stripe OLED panel and covers 99% of Adobe RGB, sRGB, and Display P3 color gamuts. It also offers a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and Calman-certified color calibration. For creators working on digital illustration, photo retouching, animation, or color-sensitive design projects, this level of color coverage can help ensure that what appears on the screen is reliable and consistent.

XPPen has also added a nano-etched anti-glare surface to reduce reflections while keeping the drawing experience more natural. The company says the tablet uses hybrid dimming to help reduce eye strain, which may be useful for artists and editors who spend long hours working on detailed projects.

Connectivity is another key selling point. The Artist Ultra 14 can connect to compatible laptops and desktops using a single USB-C cable. This makes the setup cleaner and more travel-friendly, especially for users who want to avoid carrying extra adapters or multiple cables. The compact size also makes it a strong option for creators who move between home, studio, school, and office environments.

For input, the tablet supports touch control and includes two X3 Pro-series styluses. Users can also work with the two built-in side buttons or the included ACK05 Shortcut Remote. These controls can be customized with gestures, touch zones, and workflow presets, allowing artists to tailor the device to their preferred software and creative process.

Despite its professional display features, the Artist Ultra 14 remains highly portable. It weighs 720 grams, or about 1.59 pounds, and measures only 6 mm, or 0.24 inches, thick. The aluminum alloy body gives it a premium look while helping keep the device slim and easy to carry.

The XPPen Artist Ultra 14 is now available through XPPen for $699, with broader availability expected through the company’s online retail store soon. For creators looking for a portable OLED drawing tablet with accurate colors, touch support, customizable shortcuts, and a simple USB-C connection, the Artist Ultra 14 is positioned as an appealing option in the digital art tablet market.
