Xming is gearing up to introduce the enhanced New V1 projector in China this February. As a revamped edition of their previous model, which debuted last year, the New V1 brings a significant upgrade in brightness along with a host of other appealing features. Xming, known for its smart home projectors, offers some of its devices under the Formovie brand globally.
The New V1 makes a striking improvement in luminosity, reaching up to 950 CVIA lumens, surpassing its predecessor’s 800 CVIA lumens. It maintains a native 1080p resolution complemented by MEMC motion smoothing, perfect for viewing high-action content. Sound-wise, it packs a punch with two 6W Boston Acoustics speakers integrated with Dolby Audio for an enriched auditory experience.
While the company hasn’t disclosed every detail about the New V1, the prior model boasted a 1.22:1 throw ratio, a capability to project images up to 120 inches wide, and had a contrast ratio of 2,000:1. It’s equipped with handy features such as screen fit, screen alignment, and keystone correction to enhance image quality. Connectivity options from the original model include Wi-Fi 6 and an HDMI 2.1 port, along with voice command support, setting a high benchmark for the upcoming projector.
The New V1 is scheduled for launch on February 27th in China, though its pricing remains a mystery. For reference, its predecessor was priced at approximately CNY 2,399, or around $330. There’s yet no clarity on the international release, so if you’re exploring similar options, you might look into alternatives like the NexiGo PJ40 (Gen 3) Projector, widely available online. Keep an eye on this space for more updates.
