Xiaomi TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027 Supreme Edition Launches With 5,500-Nit Brightness and 360Hz Gaming Mode
Xiaomi has expanded its premium TV lineup with the TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027 Supreme Edition, a high-end television designed for viewers who want extreme brightness, rich color performance, smooth gaming, and powerful built-in sound.
The new model builds on Xiaomi’s standard 2027 TV S Pro series, but pushes several key features further. The biggest upgrade is the RGB-Mini LED display system, which uses separate red, green, and blue light sources instead of a more conventional backlight approach. Xiaomi says this allows the TV to cover 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut, making it capable of producing a wider and more vibrant range of colors.
Brightness is another major selling point. The TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027 Supreme Edition can reach up to 5,500 nits of peak brightness, which is 500 nits higher than the standard model. That makes it especially appealing for HDR movies, sports, and gaming, where highlights such as sunlight, explosions, reflections, and bright skies can look more dramatic and realistic.
To improve viewing in bright rooms, Xiaomi has added a low-reflection coating rated at 0.5%. This is designed to reduce glare and make the screen easier to watch during daytime viewing or in rooms with strong lighting.
Under the hood, the TV is powered by Xiaomi’s XM9000 image processor, which handles picture optimization, contrast, and color accuracy. The display supports 4K resolution with a native 180Hz refresh rate, while gamers can take advantage of a 360Hz gaming mode. It also includes VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and four HDMI 2.1 ports, making it well-suited for modern gaming consoles and high-performance PC gaming setups.
Sound has received a major upgrade as well. Xiaomi has replaced the 130W 2.1.2-channel speaker setup found in the standard version with a stronger 170W 4.1.2-channel audio system. This setup includes upward-firing speakers, dedicated surround channels, and a subwoofer. The system is tuned by Harman and supports Dolby Atmos, giving the TV a more immersive soundstage for movies, games, and live events.
The TV also includes a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. It runs HyperOS 4, Xiaomi’s smart TV software platform. Another interesting feature is the built-in millimeter-wave radar, which is said to detect the viewer’s position and automatically adjust picture and sound settings for a better viewing experience.
Xiaomi is offering the TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027 Supreme Edition in four screen sizes: 65 inches, 75 inches, 85 inches, and 98 inches. The number of local dimming zones varies by size, ranging from 2,160 zones on the 65-inch version to 4,860 zones on the largest 98-inch model. More dimming zones generally help improve contrast, reduce blooming, and deliver deeper blacks in darker scenes.
Pricing in China starts at 6,299 yuan, which is roughly $945, for the 65-inch model. The largest 98-inch version is priced at 13,999 yuan, or around $2,100. At launch, Xiaomi has only confirmed availability for the Chinese market, with no official announcement yet regarding a wider global release.
