Xiaomi’s SonicBass 2 earphones are now available to order in Europe, giving buyers a budget-friendly option with a design that feels a little different from today’s fully wireless earbuds. Instead of two separate earbuds, the SonicBass 2 use a neckband-style cable that connects both sides while still pairing with a smartphone wirelessly over Bluetooth.
The new model follows the original Redmi SonicBass, which launched years ago when wireless audio was still moving toward the mainstream. Now, Xiaomi is bringing back that practical semi-wireless format with a low price and familiar everyday features.
In Germany, the Xiaomi SonicBass 2 are listed at €34.90 through a local retailer. Immediate delivery may not be available for all buyers, with stock expected to arrive by July 4 at the latest. This suggests the earphones may be reaching the European market quietly rather than through a large official rollout.
The SonicBass 2 come with 9.2 mm audio drivers and support Bluetooth 5.2, which should provide a stable wireless connection with modern smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The earbuds are connected by a cable, while the central section appears to house the battery and USB-C charging port.
