According to a recent report, the Pad 8 Pro is “virtually certain” to ship with Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship Snapdragon chip. The name isn’t locked in yet, but it’s being tipped as Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, potentially marketed as 8 Elite Gen 5. That would be a notable step up from the Pad 7 Pro’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and positions the Pad 8 Pro as a true flagship-class Android tablet aimed at creators, gamers, and multitaskers.
