1208 Productions is a notable name in the Web3 space, having introduced innovative technologies, consulted with celebrities and industry leaders, and generated over $75 million in revenue. Established in 2021, they have carved out a significant niche in the emerging sector of Web3, which integrates cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and blockchain technology into the internet ecosystem.
The Web3 movement has, however, been controversial. NFTs, in particular, have garnered a negative reputation due to their associations with financial malpractices such as pump and dump schemes, and some simply find them unappealing.

The original creator of Flappy Bird allowed the trademark to lapse and seems to have no involvement with this “revival” as a Web3 product. Fans seeking to recapture the magic of the original may explore numerous reskins, fangames, and similar alternatives that have proliferated over the years.
