Vivo has introduced its latest smartwatch, the Vivo Watch 5, which stands out with its eSIM support. This feature allows the device to operate independently, making phone calls and sending messages without needing a smartphone connection. Launched initially in April 2025, this new version maintains the model’s core versatility while adding cellular capabilities.
One notable drawback of this connectivity is a reduced battery life, but the Watch 5 still manages to offer up to seven days on a single charge—far more convenient than the daily charging many smartphones require. It sports a 1.43-inch display with 466×466 resolution and a smooth 60Hz refresh rate. Designed for durability, it’s waterproof up to a test pressure of 5 ATM.
For navigation, the smartwatch includes a GNSS module supporting GPS, Beidou, and Glonass. Health and wellness features are comprehensive, offering heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis, and blood oxygen measurement. It also tracks menstrual cycles, provides breathing exercises, and supports 100 workout modes.
Currently available in China, the Vivo Watch 5 is priced around $140. Consumers can choose from colors including Midnight Black, Moonlight White, Peach Pink, Stardust Pink, and Silver Steel. Details about a global release are yet to be announced.
