Nothing, the innovative tech company known for its unique approach to gadgets, seems to be gearing up for an exciting new release. Quietly making its debut on the Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart, a sleek 100W GaN fast charger from Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF, has been listed. This power adapter is available in the trademark CMF hues and promises to charge multiple devices swiftly and safely.
Following the recent reveal of a 140W charger, the new 100W model features a three-port setup. It includes two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, although specific details on whether each port supports a full 100W output or if it’s a combined capacity remain unclear.
The listing indicates broad compatibility, suggesting it can efficiently charge laptops, smartphones, and wireless earbuds, supporting all major charging standards like Power Delivery (PD), Quick Charge (QC), and Programmable Power Supply (PPS).
Compactness is another selling point for this 100W charger. It’s touted to be smaller than typical 100W power adapters, which makes it more portable and convenient for users on the go. Safety is also a priority, as the charger comes equipped with nine protective mechanisms to guard against issues like low voltage, high voltage, overheating, and short circuits, ensuring reliable and safe charging.
Priced at INR 4,999 (about $60), the charger is available in two color options: a vibrant orange and a sophisticated dark grey. However, there’s no mention of when it will be in stock or if it will be available globally.
As we await official announcements from Nothing, tech enthusiasts can anticipate a well-rounded and efficient charging solution that reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and innovation. Keep an eye out for this intriguing new addition to the CMF lineup, and be prepared for a potential game-changer in the world of fast charging.
