Ugreen enters the AIoT space with new local AI hubs and smart security cameras
Ugreen is expanding beyond its familiar accessories and charging products with a new AIoT lineup built around smart home automation, local artificial intelligence, and home security. The company’s first wave of AI-powered devices includes a smart speaker, a color e-paper picture frame, and a trio of smart cameras designed to work with Ugreen’s HomeAgent AI hubs.
At the center of the ecosystem are the HomeAgent HA100 and HomeAgent HA100 Pro. These devices act as local AI hubs, allowing compatible Ugreen smart home products to process data on-device instead of relying entirely on cloud-based services. For users who care about privacy, speed, and more reliable smart home performance, local AI processing could be one of the biggest selling points of the new lineup.
Ugreen says its HomeAgent hubs can enable local image and video analysis, more accurate object detection, improved motion tracking, AI-generated event summaries, and keyword-based search for recorded security events. In practical terms, this means users may be able to find important moments faster, receive more relevant alerts, and reduce unnecessary notifications caused by false motion detection.
The indoor model, called the SynCare Cam ID500 Pro, is built for home monitoring, baby rooms, pet tracking, and general indoor security. It features an 8MP sensor with support for 4K video capture and 8x digital zoom, giving users a clearer view of indoor spaces. The camera also supports WiFi 6, which should help provide smoother wireless streaming and more dependable remote access.
One of the more family-focused features of the ID500 Pro is baby crying detection. When the camera detects something important, it can notify the user, making it useful not only as a security camera but also as a smart monitoring device for parents.
For outdoor surveillance, Ugreen is introducing the SynCare PoE Cam OD600 Pro. This model is designed for more demanding installations and supports both DC power and Power over Ethernet. Its IP66 waterproof rating makes it suitable for outdoor environments where rain, dust, and changing weather conditions may be a concern.
The OD600 Pro combines dual 5MP PTZ cameras with 9x hybrid zoom and an 8MP bullet camera capable of detailed 4K recording. This multi-camera setup is intended to provide wider coverage, better tracking, and sharper footage for driveways, entrances, yards, and commercial spaces. The camera also includes full-color night vision, helping users see more detail in low-light conditions compared with traditional black-and-white infrared footage.
Ugreen has also equipped the OD600 Pro with active deterrence features. If the camera detects a potential security threat, it can activate a siren and flashing lights to help scare off intruders before a situation escalates.
The third camera, the SynCare Battery Cam OD800 Pro, builds on the outdoor security concept with a more flexible wire-free design. It includes a detachable 10,000mAh battery and a 6W solar panel, allowing users to install it in areas where wired power is inconvenient or unavailable. Under suitable sunlight conditions, the solar panel may reduce or even eliminate the need for manual charging.
This makes the OD800 Pro especially appealing for locations such as garages, gardens, fences, sheds, remote entrances, and other outdoor areas where running cables would be difficult. With battery power, solar charging, and local AI support through the HomeAgent system, it is positioned as Ugreen’s most convenient outdoor smart camera option in the new lineup.
Pricing for the HomeAgent and SynCare products is already available through the pre-order phase. The HomeAgent HA100, powered by a Rockchip RK1828 chip, is listed at a pre-order price of $899. The more advanced HomeAgent HA100 Pro, which includes 32GB of RAM and a CIX-P1-CP8180 processor, is priced at $2,999.
The smart camera pricing is more accessible. The SynCare Cam ID500 Pro indoor camera is available for pre-order at $89. The SynCare PoE Cam OD600 Pro outdoor camera is priced at $159, while the battery-powered SynCare OD800 Pro is listed at $199 during the pre-order period.
Ugreen says these pre-order prices will remain available until October 27, 2026, the date when the HomeAgent lineup is expected to move into its crowdfunding phase.
With local AI processing, 4K camera options, WiFi 6 support, outdoor-ready designs, solar-powered installation, and AI-powered event search, Ugreen is clearly aiming to make a serious entrance into the smart home security market. The combination of HomeAgent hubs and SynCare cameras suggests the company wants to build a broader AIoT ecosystem where privacy, intelligent detection, and home automation work together more seamlessly.
