Ugreen Expands NASync Lineup With DXP6800 Ultra and DXP8800 Ultra NAS Systems
Ugreen has introduced two new high-performance network-attached storage systems at IFA 2026, expanding its NASync family with the DXP6800 Ultra and DXP8800 Ultra. These new models build on the company’s existing 6-bay and 8-bay NAS offerings, bringing upgraded Intel processors, large storage capacity, fast connectivity, and support for up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory.
The Ugreen NASync DXP6800 Ultra is designed for users who need serious storage performance in a compact 6-bay setup. It comes powered by an Intel Core 5 120U processor and includes 8 GB of DDR5 RAM out of the box. With six drive bays and two M.2 NVMe slots, the system can support up to 208 TB of total storage, making it a strong option for home labs, small businesses, creators, and media-heavy workflows.
For users who need even more capacity, the Ugreen NASync DXP8800 Ultra steps things up with an 8-bay configuration. This model is equipped with a more powerful Intel Core 7 150U processor, 8 GB of DDR5 RAM, and dual M.2 NVMe slots. Its maximum storage capacity reaches up to 272 TB, giving professionals and power users more room for backups, media libraries, virtualization, surveillance footage, and collaborative file storage.
One of the biggest upgrades in both models is memory expansion. The DXP6800 Ultra and DXP8800 Ultra can each be upgraded to as much as 96 GB of DDR5 RAM. That makes them better suited for demanding NAS tasks such as running multiple apps, hosting private cloud services, managing large file databases, or handling heavier multitasking workloads.
Ugreen has also packed both NAS systems with a strong selection of ports. Connectivity includes dual 10G Ethernet, dual Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, dual 10 Gbps USB Type-A ports, dual USB 2.0 Type-A ports, an SD card slot, and HDMI output. This makes the systems especially flexible for users who want fast local transfers, high-speed networking, direct device connectivity, or media output options.
Compared with earlier models in the NASync range, these Ultra versions offer a noticeable processor refresh. The DXP6800 Ultra’s Intel Core 5 120U and the DXP8800 Ultra’s Intel Core 7 150U provide improved performance over previous configurations, with the higher-end DXP8800 Ultra expected to deliver the larger jump in multi-threaded workloads.
Pricing starts at $1,450 for the 6-bay Ugreen NASync DXP6800 Ultra, while the 8-bay NASync DXP8800 Ultra starts at $1,780. Both models are positioned as premium NAS solutions for users who want high storage capacity, modern Intel hardware, fast networking, and future-ready expandability in one system.
