Ugreen HiTune Max5s Launch With Bluetooth 6.0, ANC, and Up to 112 Hours of Battery Life
Ugreen has introduced the HiTune Max5s, a new pair of budget-friendly over-ear headphones in China that aim to deliver premium-style features at a surprisingly low price. While Ugreen is widely recognized for chargers, power banks, and mobile accessories, the company continues to expand its audio lineup with products designed for everyday listeners who want strong performance without spending much.
The standout feature of the Ugreen HiTune Max5s is battery life. These headphones are equipped with an 800mAh battery that can deliver up to 112 hours of music playback with active noise cancellation turned off. Even with ANC enabled, Ugreen claims users can get up to 74 hours of listening time. Based on average daily use of around 3.7 hours, the headphones could last up to 30 days on a single charge. Charging is handled through a USB-C port.
Despite their affordable price, the HiTune Max5s come with a solid feature set. The headphones weigh 238 grams and use 40mm custom drivers with a PET polymer diaphragm. Ugreen says the headphones are tuned to perform well even at lower volume levels, with a sound pressure level of 113dB.
For noise control, the HiTune Max5s support active noise cancellation of up to 45dB. The headphones can analyze surrounding noise up to 375,000 times per second, helping reduce distractions during travel, work, or daily commutes. They also include five microphones paired with an AI-powered noise reduction algorithm to improve voice clarity during calls.
Audio features include support for spatial audio and LDAC, giving users the option for higher-quality wireless sound when paired with compatible devices. The headphones also carry dual Hi-Res certification, which may appeal to listeners looking for richer detail and better audio performance in an affordable wireless headset.
Ugreen also provides customization through its companion app. Users can adjust the equalizer, create custom EQ settings, or generate a personalized sound profile with a single tap. This makes the HiTune Max5s more flexible for different music styles, podcasts, movies, and gaming.
Connectivity is another area where these headphones stand out. The HiTune Max5s support Bluetooth 6.0, which is still uncommon in many budget headphones. They also include Bluetooth Multipoint, allowing users to connect to two devices at the same time. This is useful for switching between a laptop and smartphone without manually disconnecting and reconnecting.
Another notable addition is the built-in Ugreen AI assistant. It offers features such as audio-to-text transcription, live interpretation with transcription and audio, and a conversation mode. These tools could be useful for meetings, studying, travel, or multilingual communication.
The Ugreen HiTune Max5s are currently available in China with a price of CNY 169, which is roughly $25 or €22.
