U.S. Pulls Plug on Samsung and SK Hynix Waivers for China Chip Fabs

Tired of retyping your credentials every time you visit? The Save my User ID and Password option lets you sign in faster on this device while keeping control over your security.

How the feature works
– Check the Save my User ID and Password box in the log-in section before you sign in.
– Your sign-in information is saved on the computer you’re using, so returning visits are quicker.
– If you log out, the saved information is removed. You’ll need to enter your User ID and Password the next time you visit.

When to use it
– Ideal for your personal, trusted devices to speed up access.
– Avoid using it on shared or public computers.

Quick setup
1) Go to the log-in page.
2) Enter your User ID and Password.
3) Check Save my User ID and Password.
4) Sign in as usual. On future visits with the same device and browser, your details will be remembered.

Good to know
– The save applies only to the specific device and browser you used. Switching devices or browsers means you’ll need to sign in again or choose the save option there as well.
– Clearing your browser’s cookies or site data can remove the saved information.
– Using the log-out button intentionally clears the saved login for your security.

Security tips
– Use this option only on devices you control.
– Create a strong, unique password and keep your device protected with a passcode or biometric lock.
– If available, enable two-factor authentication for an extra layer of protection.
– Always log out on shared or borrowed devices to ensure your information isn’t stored there.

Troubleshooting
– The box isn’t saving my info: Ensure cookies are enabled and you’re not browsing in private/incognito mode.
– I keep getting signed out: Check if your browser or security software is set to clear cookies on exit, which will remove saved logins.
– I want to stop saving my details: Log out to clear the saved information. On your next sign-in, leave the box unchecked.
