TRIBE NINE to Conclude Operations in November

Game enthusiasts are in for some disappointing news. Co-developers Akatsuki Games and Too Kyo Games have announced the shutdown of TRIBE NINE, their innovative “extreme baseball RPG” crafted by Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka. The game, which was globally released in February on Windows PC, iOS, and Android, will officially close on November 27th, merely months after its launch.

Despite efforts from the development and operations teams to enhance the player experience, the difficult decision to terminate the game was made. This abrupt announcement means that Chapter 4 of the story, which had been eagerly anticipated, will not be delivered.

Players are encouraged to check in-game notices and the official website for detailed information regarding the closure schedule and any related procedures.

In terms of future updates, all scheduled content and new features have been canceled as of May. This includes adjustments and fixes for known issues. Additionally, the introduction of new characters Ichinosuke Akiba and Saizo Akiba, initially part of the development roadmap, will not occur.

For those who made in-game purchases, refunds for Paid Enigma Entities used for unlocking specific features and acquiring Saizo Akiba’s skin will be initiated following the end of the “Support Contract – Revenio.” As of mid-May, sales of Paid Enigma Entities and Daily Passes ceased, although entities will remain usable.

Despite these changes, the team hopes players will continue to enjoy TRIBE NINE until its final days.
