Beelink ME Pro NAS Gets a More Affordable Intel Pentium J5005 Version With Up to 68TB Storage
Beelink has introduced a new, lower-cost configuration of its ME Pro NAS, giving home users, creators, and small office setups a more accessible way to build compact network storage. The latest model is powered by the Intel Pentium Silver J5005, a low-power quad-core processor from Intel’s Gemini Lake series, designed for efficient everyday server tasks such as file sharing, media storage, backups, and lightweight home lab use.
The new Beelink ME Pro NAS supports up to 16GB of DDR4 memory, making it capable enough for common NAS workloads without demanding too much power. Storage flexibility is one of its biggest strengths. The system can hold up to four drives in total, combining both M.2 SSD slots and SATA drive bays.
Users can install two M.2 SSDs, with each slot supporting up to 4TB. In addition, the two SATA slots can each accommodate drives of up to 30TB. Altogether, the ME Pro can support as much as 68TB of total storage, which is impressive for a compact two-bay-style NAS system.
This model is part of Beelink’s modular ME Pro ecosystem. The mainboard can be swapped, allowing users to choose different hardware configurations depending on their needs. According to the company, the chassis design allows the system to be around 50% smaller in volume compared with conventional two-bay HDD NAS units. Connectivity is also well covered. The Beelink ME Pro NAS with the Intel Pentium Silver J5005 includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two 2.5G LAN ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an HDMI port. The dual 2.5G Ethernet ports are especially useful for faster network transfers, link aggregation, or separating different network tasks.
Pricing is another key attraction. The barebone version of the Beelink ME Pro NAS with the Pentium Silver J5005 is priced at CNY 999, which is roughly $147. Beelink is also offering a configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for the operating system, priced at CNY 1,499, or around $221.
With its compact body, modular design, dual 2.5G networking, and support for up to 68TB of storage, the new Beelink ME Pro NAS could be a strong option for users looking for an affordable home NAS, a small office backup server, or a space-saving media storage solution.
