Timex Revives Its 1966 Skin Diver With the New Bespoke Post x Timex Heritage 66
Timex is bringing a classic dive-watch look back into the spotlight with the launch of the Bespoke Post x Timex Heritage 66. Inspired by the brand’s 1966 Skin Diver, the new model blends vintage character with practical modern features, making it an appealing option for fans of retro watches and everyday dive-style timepieces.
The Heritage 66 arrives with a 40 mm stainless steel case that measures 12 mm thick, giving it a wearable size that stays true to its old-school inspiration without feeling outdated. Its black dial, luminous hands, and glowing hour markers keep the design clean and easy to read, while a date window at 3 o’clock adds everyday usefulness.
A unidirectional aluminum bezel surrounds the dial, allowing wearers to track elapsed time in classic diver fashion. Timex has also fitted the watch with a screw-down crown and a 200-meter water resistance rating, giving the Heritage 66 more than just a vintage appearance. While it is not positioned as a luxury dive watch, that level of water resistance makes it a capable companion for swimming, travel, and daily wear.
The watch uses a battery-powered quartz analog movement and is listed with an SR621SW battery. Covering the dial is a mineral glass crystal rather than sapphire, which helps keep the model within a more accessible price range. The crown features Bespoke Post branding, while the case back is engraved with a skin diver illustration inspired by advertising from the original 1966 model. The Heritage 66 is sold as a gift set and includes two interchangeable straps. Buyers get an orange double-layer fabric slip-through strap for a bold vintage look, along with a black HNBR rubber strap for a more classic dive-watch style. Both straps fit the watch’s 20 mm lugs and use quick-release spring bars, making it easy to change the look without tools.
