PowerColor has just unveiled its exciting lineup of custom AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 graphics cards, featuring the popular Red Devil, the mid-range Hellhound, and the newly introduced Reaper series. These cards, which harness the power of AMD’s latest RDNA 4 architecture, promise to deliver impressive performance and design aesthetics.
Leading the charge is the exquisite Red Devil series, acclaimed for its premium build and advanced technologies. These cards showcase superior VRM configurations, Honeywell PTM7950 thermal pads, and a highly effective cooling setup with a sophisticated heat pipe design embedded in the 12-layer PCB. The Red Devil’s striking visual appeal is enhanced by its innovative design, known as Hellstone, now boasting PowerColor’s new control hub, Keystone. For those looking for something extra special, limited editions featuring the Red Devil Metal Keycap are also available.
The Hellhound series, attractive and balance-centric, comes in both Black and White color schemes. Designed to deliver excellent value, these cards provide an efficient blend of performance and aesthetics. The traditional black-themed Hellhound GPUs are equipped with cool icy blue LED lighting and have a sleek dark mode. For a stylish alternative, the Hellhound Spectral White series offers a fully white design across its PCB, shroud, and I/O area.
Introducing the Reaper series, this new line takes a more understated approach with a clean and straightforward GPU design. Even with its minimalistic style, it doesn’t skimp on performance, thanks to the reliable Honeywell PTM7950 thermal pads that ensure efficient cooling. The Reaper Radeon RX 9070 XT delivers a robust boost clock reaching up to 2970 MHz in STD/Silent mode, while the Hellhound and Red Devil offer an even higher boost in their dedicated OC modes.
The Hellhound series impressively clocks at up to 3010 MHz in OC mode and 2460 MHz in Game mode, while the Red Devil elevates this with up to 3060 MHz in OC and 2520 MHz in Game mode.
These impressive GPUs are slated for launch shortly, coinciding with the release of AMD’s reference designs on March 6th. While AMD’s reference RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 models are priced at $599 and $549 respectively, PowerColor’s custom editions are expected to command a slightly higher price due to their enhanced features and bespoke designs.
