Tesla is celebrating Independence Day with an enticing promotion, offering free red, white, or blue color options for the new 2026 Model Y, as well as the refreshed Model S/X and the Model 3. Depending on the model and chosen hue, buyers can enjoy significant savings.
For instance, opting for the Model Y in Ultra Red garners a $2,500 discount, as does selecting the new Model X in Frost Blue Metallic. Meanwhile, choosing the Pearl White Multi-Coat—available across most Tesla models (excluding the Cybertruck)—will result in $1,500 in savings. This promotion runs from July 4th to July 14th.
Using complimentary color options as an incentive isn’t new for Tesla. In April, the company offered a 0% APR financing rate on the Model 3 alongside free color options to boost Q2 deliveries. Additionally, when Tesla adjusted the Model X pricing to benefit from a tax credit, free paint options were included. Conversely, in China, Tesla removed free color options during a successful price reduction campaign that drove demand without the need for further promotions.
